A Japanese company using western standard is predictably not going well in its home turf. Why not just make the buttons LED, like Optimus, so each game can program their own buttons and icons onto the controller. People no longer need to ask “what’s the jump button” if there is an icon for jump right on the controller.

Back in my days, Microsoft had Age of Empire, Fable, and Halo but disbanded those hugely successful studios seemly out of no reason. I would argue Rare is in the same situation, Microsoft just doesn’t manage studios well.

Microsoft debuted Kinect v3, their glasses. Last I heard it’s only available for industrial and medical research, but I do prefer their AR tech far better than VR.

Absolutely, all console makers need to have first party developers. Sony have a handful, comes out with some big games every year. Nintendo have lots of teams, comes out with lots of games every year.

That’s what I like about Microsoft, when failed, double down with more money and effort, eventually they will succeed.

Felt like it was only yesterday when this exact headline was used to describe YouTube. Those youtubers resolved the problem by abandoning, just stop use Twitch, no one is forcing you to play the same game for 12 hours a day on stream.

Had an old Razer Blade, one of the first model that includes the external GPU, Razer Core. Got it a while ago, put a GTX760 when it first came out, upgrading soon. Allowing the laptop to have the mobility on the go and the horsepower hooking up to monitor.

Gaming laptop have been using external GPUs for years.  I don’t know if Switch is using a proprietary USB port, most likely not, is it's standard, there is no reason why Switch can't do the same.

Please let it be the enhanced dock as previously rumored. I am quite happy with Switch as it is. It would be awesome to save the money on the portable part and to just get a dock with better GPU, so it would run games at higher resolution and frame rate on TV.

I get about 2 ~ 10 2FA notification from Steam on daily basis, I don’t think constantly changing my password is a valid strategy when Steam won’t ban the repeat offenders.
