It’s like the days of iQue all over again.

Xenoblade, all day, all weekend, all week.

The thing about Xeno series is that 50 hours is no where close enough to get a grasp of the game. In Xenoblade, it took me 60 hours to get out of Colony 9, didn’t get a grasp on what the story eventually leads to until I hit Eryth Sea, which is around 250 hours mark. I like to explore for the story.

Best part about these videos is that not only these folks are great at this game, but more importantly the devs placed stacks of coins in hidden areas, seemly impossible areas. Daring people to take the short cuts and reward them with coins.

Better question is “why not”? Plenty of Megami Tensei games have been on Sony and Nintendo hardware, why shouldn’t a new one show up on one of them?

The JRPG Revival Project: Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Eternal Sonata, Tales of Vesperia, Resonance of Fate, The Last Remnant, and Infinite Undiscovery, got huge support from Microsoft back when Xbox 360 was first announced. All of the games range from decent to great, but they just didn’t sell.

Good to see Nintendo not taking the thunder away from third-party and indie studios. Speaking of which, any recommendation on Switch that I should pick up? I try to buy an indie title every week or two to support the scene.
