I don’t care I love that we have one room in our house with an entire wall of books. Old books, reference books, Photography, gardening, cookbooks, a complete, very worn childcraft children’s encyclopedia set from when I was a kid. Doctor Suess books straight from the 80’s.

It was the first I’d heard of it, but then again I’ve lived most of my life in Iowa and Illinois. Iowa before I was really too young to pay attention and Illinois now where a law like this would never get any traction.

I don’t know about it being just a pure incompetence thing, there were multiple sources in that documentary, which itself wasn’t biased one way or another, which indicated that there was a real reluctance on the part of the government to get into a clinics affairs too much. Not that I’m defending this at ALL and don’t know what it is they’re really doing, but I recently watched a documentary on Netflix, about a doctor in I want to say Philadelphia, (Netflix pulled it I guess, so the name of the movie and a couple other details I can’t remember) who ran a very dangerous, dirty, horrible…

I’m not saying they can’t. I’m just saying there’s a difference between can and should.

I’ve read some of the books and although I admit it was a long time ago I’m almost positive that’s not completely accurate.

Maybe because it’s just respecting the work of the author of all those books that were the source content?

He’s picking on people who had absolutely no say in the situation because they were minors, who by our own fucking laws are not entitled to one. They never did anything illegally because we don’t hold really young minors responsible for like, anything. So really these people could not possibly have done what he says…

Unless they’re being punished for their words and actions by the government, their rights are fully intact. So fuck em.

There should be a reality show where ancestry.com offers free services to white supremacists and then films their reactions when they find out they’re part brown.

I’d just like to mention that “the feds” have been in Chicago for years. FBI, ATF, and ICE (at least) have all maintained a pretty significant and consistent presence here for as long as I’ve lived in the area, which 7 years.
