Definitely +1 on the recommendation to watch AEW. Gives me the good kind of enjoyment I got out of watching Nitro in the 90s, and they seem to be so much more willing to treat their wrestlers like actual independent contractors than WWE seems to have been.

Nia Jax’s in-ring memorable moments

Yeah, I think the IGN review works better as an opinion/analysis piece for recently-minted Persona fans who haven’t played a mainline SMT game yet and not as a formal review.

Yeah, I was parked in Eulmore when the announcement was made. Area chat lit up pretty quick, folks were disappointed but generally understanding of it. Feels bad for those who managed to get time off around Thanksgiving week and now can’t get those plans reworked. On my side, that’s a chance to continue working on 5.x

> I’ve been tempted to try FF14 but would be lying if I said I wasn’t intimidated by the sheer scale of how much there is to do in it.

I think the thing that stopped me from classifying this game as frustrating was the fact that I could see that I was progressing every time I died in one of those boss fights. Last boss took me a good 2 hours start to finish, though the last phase seemed to be significantly easier than the first couple phases were.

It’s a strangely worded Q&A. I took it to mean that simply being invited isn’t enough to guarantee availability, but rather you have to be invited and you have to respond to that invite within the timeframe specified, and even then, you’re limited to the quantities specified (so you couldn’t show up later with the

Folks on /r/squaredcircle keep saying get a VPN and pay $20 for the international broadcast on fite.tv. The PPVs haven’t been stinkers so far, so at $20 or at $50 it’s a good buy. Do like we all did back in the day and get your (vaccinated) friends over to split the cost of the show and pizzas!

The other best thing about AEW is Tony Schiavone is back in wrestling full time, he loves it again, and everyone loves him. Everyone except Adam Cole.

Tony Khan seems to know what he’s doing, and although it sure feels like he essentially rebooted WCW Monday Nitro (with Rampage now following on in the role of Thunder, and Dark/Elevation as WCW Saturday Night or WCW Worldwide), he’s doing it in a way that avoids a lot of the mistakes they made back then. AEW gives me

The original article says:

I would like to submit Peter Cushing’s name for posthumous cancelation as he played the role of Grand Moff Tarkin in Star Wars, and nobody should condone acting out the role of someone who blew up an entire planet. Do better!

The fact that they’re changing the design of the PSU and offering returns speaks rather clearly as to whether they truly believe the statement they put out…

> All I hope is that nonsense toxicity doesn’t follow a lot of these WoW players over into FFXIV. I love our community, and it’s easily the best one I’ve been in over the 20 years I’ve been gaming online...

Thanks, Ash. I’ve enjoyed reading your FF14 articles!

Even just within publishers there seems to be a ton of variety. I have a lot of Japanese Squaresoft releases on Playstation... Final Fantasy IV is in a proprietary case with a gray plastic around the edge, Final Fantasy V is in a *regular CD jewel case*, and Chrono Cross is somehow a mix of the two, using the
