Couldn't agree more. My mother's Intrepid was hit by everything but the lottery. Thankfully, none while she was in it. On the third on, my dad was like "Ok, that's enough." Sold. But even that last wreck while parked wasn't all that bad. Completely drivable. Man, I miss that car. There hasn't been a Chrysler

My mom had a 1996 bought brand new and if I remember correctly it was a rather good car. Quick, handled ok, huge which was nice, and she beat the shit out of it for years until someone took it out with a pickup. Even then the insurance company fixed it. I think she ended up getting like 5,000 for it at the time.

Why did you turn, go airborne and end up in the water!! Rookie mistake.

Oldsmobile 88?

A match and a small amount of lighter fluid. That's about it. Everything in the interior of the car is solidified gasoline filled with methyl/ethyl crap that will ignite and burn very quickly. Also, great for marshmallows. Brings new meaning to the words burn out.

The beach. Think about all that salty air (great for running in) eating away at your metal bits on your car.

If you have a prospective girlfriend who can recognize that you have fake brake simulators then A) You don't deserve her and B) That girl is awesome.

Dammit Nibbles where did my image go? Meh, picture a guy installing a new window. I don't feel like finding the link again. And I am at work so....

Window replacement. Whether it be a windshield or something a bit more simple (?) like a side wind. It's a bitch no matter how you look at it. Take a door apart? Break a seal? Form a new seal? Get it on the track right? F that.

Tease.

Jalopnik was able to get TMS posted before 9:30!

When the salesman won't back down off his "3,000 Cash!" for an econo car. Every third phrase is "3,000 Cash!" I wouldn't give you 2 dollars for that Sunfire after 1) ran out of gas on the test drive and 2) made an air leak like sound that wasn't coming from the tires. Presumably a PCV valve. Either way. No. Just no.

How to adjust the passenger seat. This may not be a thought for most people because most will never sit in their passenger seat but others will and they will inevitably not be able to find the control lever to do any number of things. This will lead to less frustration. As a side note, the Chevrolet Cruze has the

What he said.

I have just finished reading all of your stories and comments. Best posts ever. I agree with the above. You are a fucking legend sir.

It was very close. Thankfully no one was hurt. Well, until the owner of the LaFrance got his bearings straight. I seriously thought he was going to kill that guy. Idiot indeed.

Awesome shot. Dumb. Ass.

Note the truck that fell onto it. The cab was not turned for stability and the stick was stretched perpendicular to the truck. Recipe for disaster.

So my feeble old (26?) brain was wrong on the type of vehicle damaged in this incident. It was, in fact a 900 Series American LaFrance. Idiot moment of the day. Still a nice truck.

Could not have said it better myself. Functional and beautiful.
