I was once at an antique fire truck show (dad has two) and a man who had little to no experience with fire trucks (read: not a firefighter) set up his tiller (hook and ladder for you plebeian folks) wrong. This resulted in the tiller falling over rather dramatically and crushing a beautifully, and recently, restored…
But did you actually get to throw the trash away?
Couldn't find a good image, however, the recline function on the Chevrolet Cruze. Either side. I can't tell you how many times I have had to tell people "ALL THE WAY BACK!" This comes after numerous attempts to recline the seat back with the seat level adjustments. My driver seat is in set it and forget it but the…
My father use to have a 1992 International ambulance he used as a daily driver. It was pretty sick when he got done with it.
Way. Too. Much. Wing.
I had a 2008 Astra XR. 4 door hatch. I miss the steering wheel, feel, and overall tossability of that car. Expansive moon roof and supportive seats with a high quality interior made things even better. I should never have sold that car. I was scared of parts shortages. I kick myself everyday. It's not all about power.
Dials and physical buttons. Knobs too.
Turbo 4 AND 600 hp? I would be dead if I were allowed to drive it but It would be one hell of a way to go out.
Seriously awesome. There was one just like it down at the local dealership here recently. Only had 23,000 miles of old lady sunday drives on it. Stored in a garage. Surprisingly decent fuel economy for such a land barge. I should have bought it. NP on yours indeed. Obviously kept in good condition. Again, Congrats!
$700 1988 Lincoln TownCar. Triple white. Beautiful. The only problem was that it was 15 years old when I bought it from a friend and the transmission could not handle me apparently. I loved that car and still miss it to this day. Malaise era? Who cares. I loved that car.
Still very respectable. The Panther's were and are completely indestructible. If that is the ride, then congrats. If not, congrats anyway!!
I saw a VOLT behind me today. Beautiful car. I have driven many but because my commute tops 100 miles per day it just wouldnt make sense. Not to mention the fact that I just don't have almost $40,000. I do want it though. Badly. It would still cut my gas bill in half.
Absolute perfection here. #COTD
Old Buick Roadmaster wagon? With the wood paneling? Also the skylight roof. Have to have that.
I drive over 100 miles per day just for work. Commuting. It generally sucks, however, I have to do it. If gas hits $5 per gallon I will have to find another job closer to home and take a rather large pay cut that probably won't be offset by the savings in fuel anyway.
Manual transmission: Check.
But only just barely.
Don't you think that they applied those well known and well regarded names for marketing reasons in the first place? Associating with an already well known and well marketed marque makes marketing a new model even easier.
You really had me there with the 'Trailblazer is back!' thing. It isn't very nice to say things like that if we are not sure if it is ever coming here. Evil trick you played on my memories.
