So...let me get this straight...she’s saying that her time at Fox was performance art? If so, then BRAVO!

Their combined strength as a couple is some straight superhero shit, theres just no other way to describe it. Theyve stood up to 10 years and counting of being one of the primary proxies of hatred for (American) white supremacy while also successfully raising kids

I’ve been anti Baba for awhile, mainly cause she keeps knocking out my faves. I think if that wasn’t the case, I’d be more inclined to pick her, but at this point it’s a whole thing.

Don’t know your race or ethnicity, but that is a very “white” response. If you’re a black man, you’re proving the point of the article and the irony is lost in you.

Iran, Afghanistan...

I wrote this comment on the great column Maiysha Kai wrote discussing “Intimate partner Violence”.

Let me find my seat real quick because the umar stans are coming.

we did not seek territorial expansion or attempt to oppose and impose our way of life on others.

I wasted a lot of time not believing Maya Angelou’s famous quote: “when someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.” Similarly, when someone tells you to leave them alone (“I don’t have time for a relationship,” “I’d be a bad boyfriend,” “There’s no hope for us”), you absolutely have to believe them

If white liberals ever wonder why minorities are so hard on their “allies” at times, this is the PERFECT example of why that is.

I’m really glad my good-family-by-comparison husband married me, with the shit family. I now have a nice family of in-laws and have developed great boundaries (i.e. cut the vast majority of them off, including my mother) with the toxic ones.

I can see this. Like, it’s one thing to have a shitty family, but there need to be CAST IRON boundaries in place so it doesn’t consume our whole lives. You have horrible parents you don’t speak to? Cool. You have horrible parents you still visit every Christmas and expect me to as well? Then we have a problem.

LW1: You don’t have a future Sister-in-Law problem.

Yeah, I was mentally preparing myself for the responses, but they actually weren’t bad this time.

Did you miss this part?

Agreed. This phenomenon was especially apparent when he did two looks on the same person as he did here with model Amber Valletta. Between the brows and the nose, you’d never guess that both people featured in the image were the same person.

What I love...absolutely LOVE about this argument & about this article is the classic theme whenever White people want to air out their grievances:

It probably has to do with legal definitions of rape, that can vary state to state.

I hope she isn’t fired but if she is, I would hope that all the black athletes deny ESPN interviews, etc. That is where it will really hurt the network. Lebron, Steph, Durant, Richard Sherman, etc. all telling ESPN reporters “Nope, not talking to you. Go fuck yourselves” will mean more to ESPN than their on and off
