Wooo... someone got a little sand in their clam tonight! lol... Way to live up to expectations.

Hey man, any other quotes you can blow out of proportion? I need more stories like this to shape my opinion on the world.
I almost always send single texts with multiple sentences vs separate texts for each sentence. Maybe this makes me an old, but I prefer receiving texts this way as well. I hate hearing my phone sound off three different alerts for what is essentially one text/thought from a friend. I feel the long text with proper…
I would think you being anointed as “The Bike Guy” would be due to your hideously arrogant and tone-deaf take on police pursuits in cars...but in a just world that would’ve led to your release from employment here.
It’s possible to discuss politics, while being honest about your personal position, without denigrating those who might disagree.
How about political discussion, when warranted, without polarization?
Move the office, or, hire remote workers. A bunch of millenials in New York city that are completely disconnected from the automotive world. NYC is not a haven for enthusiasts. Also, hire Steph and Kristen back with salaries they can actually live on.
Please do what you can to limit the politicization of this site.
Never EVER let one of your staff post a god damn slide show post again. EVER.
Look. I like Jalopnik, and most of the authors. But none of you are pilots, as far as I can tell, and it really shows.
You know how many times I’ve seen people cross the active when they’re not supposed to, especially at municipal airports? How many times I’ve misheard ATC and been corrected by my co-pilot, or vice…
Hell, The Last Jedi was one of the best things to happen to this series in decades and people are still arguing about how it was actually bad.
The Livewire is not very fast for a motorcycle.
For a Harley it is a spaceship, but yeah, it is way slower than most litre bikes. Even an old 600 is faster than the Livewire down the quarter mile....a setting they are absolutely not intended for.
It’s like people are amazed the top-of-the-line big bikes with all the goodies cost a lot of money. Go to BMW, KTM, or any other brand that offers a large adventure bike and you’ll have to pay the same price to get through the door.
Well it’s got quite lot of tech and features. Making adventure bike that can take a beating on gravel and still tour like a champ is bit more expensive than making lump of metal with 50's tech. Not that Ducatis are ever cheap, but if it was harley it would cost 33k. And would have worse fit and finnish :).
Minus one cylinder? The MV has one extra cylinder. The Ducati is a twin.
I’ll start with the fact that I can and do appreciate both brands for what they are. However, when it comes down to actual bang for the buck the Multistrada is a much better deal than any Harley could ever be. I’m the kind of rider that rents a bike about twice a year and does a week of riding at about 300-400 miles a…
No more than a GS.
But the Harley is a poor handling crap wagon. The Ducati is not. Pricing is on par with it’s direct competitors.
