They spent decades building bikes for shitty and/or poorly behaved people. Their entire brand culture is around some perceived badasserry.

This is the smaller CUV that is below the Bronco. Think of this as the Jeep Renegade compared to the Wrangler 

Or are they devoted because there has been nothing to compete with the Wrangler? I think a lot of people will want something to differentiate themselves from all the billions of wranglers floating around these days.

Just to clear things up. General take that trucks are too big, perfectly fine and ok. Immediatly devolving into stereotyping, criticizing, and insulting everyone who owns a pickup on baseless and biased anecdotal evidence, not ok.
