One thing that people miss a lot: many families simply cannot do smaller cars because of how big rear facing car seats are now. My wife and I are 6ft tall, we couldn’t fit in a Mazda 6 comfortably with a rear facing car seat.

Takes a ton less space in the center console so you have more room for cupholders and drive modes and what not. Plus auto shifts to park if you unbuckle your seatbelt and open the driver door. It’s great. Author really just digging for something to write about here

The difference here is that roughly only roughly 10k of this car have ever been produced and the manufacturer is going into bankruptcy. It's very realistic that these parts will never been produced again.
