Makes sense, a lot of actual truck people won’t be buying EVs right now, that leaves mostly EV fans who are interested in trucks, and those will likely be Tesla fans wanting the newest and most interesting product.
Make more affordable, durable EV trucks and that’ll change quickly.

For something as essential and utilitarian as a postal truck, it’s nice that appearance was the least important factor and they went all in on function. Hopefully, the reliability is just as good as the form factor.
They’re goofy looking, but honestly pretty endearing, and being purpose-built whilst also increasing safety and comfort is a huge win.

Low-speed is relative; if this was cars, it’d absolutely still be classed as a crash. The Airbus was likely traveling around 20 MPH. That’s a lot slower than its top speed, of course, but it’s still fast enough to do significant damage even in a Toyota Corolla.
