I’ve noticed a lot of the very vocal Jalops tend to be highly anti-Corvette. I thought this was supposed to be a car enthusiasts website, not the automotive equivalent of fixie worship.

Maybe, maybe not, but they *will* sell more ZR-1s because of it.
I have that on my C6. Installed a DIY Mild-to-Wild switch that lets the butterflies stay open below 3500 for some low-speed growl. Close them and it’s as quiet as my Honda Fit around town.
Or he should stop browsing Jalopnik on lunch break and do it at work like a civilized human being.
A truck you can live with — *sigh* I guess I won’t kill myself if I own one.
I’m a little late, but what truck did you drop a LSX motor into?
Yeah - and I got off on the wrong foot with another commenter in this thread. I see too many folks *look* like they’ve given up, at least as far as automobile passions go.
I will say this much, I drove a Toyota Previa minivan for almost 4 years when I was stationed in Japan.
No. Just no.
Wow. The only thing I remember about that show was one episode where Lorelei (is that her name?) was wearing gym sweatpants what had “JUICY” emblazoned across the butt. It was unusual at the time, so it stuck in my head.
It’s not a stupid take. Buying a minivan is the symbol of giving up, and for most folks, that is exactly what it is. VERY few people have any passion about minivans. The passion is dead or nearly so, hence the “dying”.
You can find the sedans all day erry day for $35k. Wagons? HAHAHAHA, er, not a chance.
Eh, being a Jalop is a state of mind - not what you own. A basic, stock minivan that you don’t care about that’s just an appliance to you? You ain’t a Jalop, not based on that.
And then drop your screen name under the hood, do a built 4L80E swap, bolt on a F1X centri blower, HELLO KILO-HORSEPOWER!
Wait, so a HekkaKitty is just a blower swap away from 707 to 1100 HP?!?
Okay, now I’ve finished it.
I’ve only read the first paragraph so far, but this is the best story I’ve read on Jalopnik since the Ram Rebel TRX article.
No joke, the 6 quart is too small for how we would use it.

Saw this article at work, couldn’t reply until now.
