The reason folks do that is that parts resale is MUCH higher for Rubicon stuff. No one wants the Wrangler Sport axles. I am thinking about getting a Wrangler, and this is one of the issues I grapple with - Sport’s cheaper, Rubicon parts sell for pretty good money.

You’re right. I wish you weren’t, but you are.

Given that it’s Japan, I had wondered if that was intentional.

Yep, Beyonce Knowles herself. Used to be a member of the now-defunct Destiny’s Child. World’s highest grossing female artist or at least musician, I think.

Noted point, but Chevrolet has been selling crate small-blocks since Whistler was a pup (meaning Toyota could have taken notes from GM in that respect). And the 2JZ-GTE was already getting popular before production ended.

Jay-Z is Beyonce’s husband. Beyonce is having twins. 2x Jay-Z, ergo 2JZ internals.

What’s the base car? That looks pretty good.

I dunno, was the MW3 Wrangler any better? To me, the vehicle was, the tie-in, not so much.

Hey Kristen,

Daryl said, “Owning a Ferrari seems to be more about prestige than really being a car enthusiast.” He did not say that a Ferrari cannot be owned by an enthusiast. And Ferraris seem to me to be bought more by those pushing an image, but this in no way prevents an enthusiast from buying one.

I just checked the site, it’s now up to $44,000.

$376M divided by how many $7300 cars just to pay that part back?

Nice to see an older chicka on occasion.

I’d hope, or they’re seriously limiting the market!

Huh, it’s good that Honda updated the Rebel finally. Interesting to see the passenger seat delete that I did on my Rebel bobber a couple years ago.

Holy crap, what a dealer.

Nah, he had an Aisin 5-speed overnighted from Japan when his motor hydrolocked.

Read every word, twice. Still had questions. Sometimes folks need more explanation, sometimes they don’t.

No, the frame just inside the doors. Roll cages don’t *typically* look like that.
