I’m fully against pre-ordering but Nintendo can just take my wallet right now. BOTW is my favorite game of the generation and probably second or third for me all-time so I am going to be all over this when it comes out.

Just like you do in Discord and put in Lawsoneer#1000 or whatever. The number tag doesn't show up on a server or in PMs.
As someone who has lived in Indiana his whole life this is definitely the truth. There was a large contingent of people who were at a minimum Confederate sympathizers and many of whom wanted to secede during the Civil War. The descendents of those people really haven't evolved in any way and insist of keeping us as…
I don’t think you need any specific hardware to run this, it should run just in a Chrome browser on your PC or phone once it fully rolls out. The Chromebook Ultra & controller are probably going to be the optimal way to play but you don’t need to buy them to use the service.
Question, do you already use Game Pass or PS+ or Gold Live or Switch Online or anything else like that? This is the same thing, you pay for access to a library and then you still need to buy new games at launch. This is pretty much the same model everyone else has.
I believe they talked before how their recommended speeds are 25mbps for 1080 and 30 mbps for 4k.
That was my immediate reaction, Jon had this in his 17776 just with football.
Its easy to me to see why a publisher/developer might enter into these deals. From a quick Google search it looks like TV ad rates can go from $5k-$200k+ depending on the show and network for a 30 second ad. For the price of a prime time ad on a major network a publisher could get a streamer to stream 1-2 hours of a…
That’s what I want in a game and I’m a little confused why no one has come out with something along those lines in awhile. I’m wondering if maybe the market for that type of game isn’t as big as we hope or if there are just a lot of technical challenges involved with making one.
In what world is a €120 million release clause cheap? Yes transfer prices have been super inflated lately but thats still a ton of money. It will be even more if Atletico forces the buyout to be met and the buying club will have to pay the taxes associated with giving Griezmann the money to buy himself out.
I like Cohh. I have been watching his streams for a couple of years now when he’s playing something that I am interested in which he does frequently. His channel is fairly laid back and usually something that I can feel comfortable with having on with my kids around.
Maybe I am just being overly optimistic and naive, but I have to think that if Valve ever goes belly up then they would make things to allow you to download all of your games and not require the Steam client to run them. Obviously some people will have to triage what they actually want to download because they might…
“As for Valve, all it has to do is lower its parasitic take”
It kind of makes sense. When I was looking at things when they opened things up a few months ago the Standard didn’t make much sense to me when compared to the Standard Plus, for only a little bit more you got a lot more from it.
Meanwhile Vince Carter keeps on chugging along and is somehow productive.
“That being said, the same thing obviously applies to lots of Steam games, too.”
Most of that extra money is going to the publishers, if you think a significant portion of that is making it to the developers then that is a larger economic debate.
For me, and everyone will have their own stance on this, is that I won’t support any store front that does 3rd party exclusives. I want to have the choice to buy a game at whatever store front that gives me the best combination of price and features that I care about (those features will obviously vary from user to…
A) Metacritic is suspectible to review bombing as well.
Actually you're the one that is incorrect, Epic is actually dropping cash and buying exclusives. Yes the developers still get the increased cut and all of that but Epic is paying them on top of that. If it wasn't like that and it was just developer/publisher choice the end of exclusivity would not match to the day the…
