More options is a great idea! But a good baseline is “anybody should be able to beat this.

“Easy mode is easy” as a complaint is a clear misunderstanding of the purpose of an easy mode. This all sounds exactly how it should be.

Easy mode is for the people that want to play through the story. That’s exactly how it should be for people who just aren’t interested in gameplay or strategies. I knew a few people like that, and although I play games on hard, I like that I can talk about the story with them.

A long time ago, I rented the original FFVII on the Playstation. It starts with some kind of boss battle, which I lost. (I later read on some forum that you can’t possibly lose this battle.) I packed it up and mailed it back a few minutes later.

Exactly this.

“Easy mode is too easy" sounds like the correct difficulty for an easy mode. It sounds like the issue is more with normal mode, at least a particular boss in normal mode.

I suspect the easy mode is for very casual gamers. People who haven’t played a Final Fantasy or even a game in years, but have decided to get this game out of nostalgia.

I appreciate easy/story mode. I’m here to have a good time (that means not doing the same fight over and over), enjoy the story itself, and then move on to the next thing. So in the case of FF7, I’m actually happy to hear this...

Of course 7 year loans are here to stay.

No.
You don’t need another Jeep.

To be frank, the whole Jeep thing is getting old. It was mildly interesting watching a new project go to MOAB each year, and seeing if it would be done/mechanically sound on the trip. . .but with so many other jeeps in your collection, nothing significant has happened to any of them. Its

These are not free Jeeps, David! By the time they’ve been turned into anything worth having, you’ll have spent thousands of dollars and put in hundreds of hours of work. Meanwhile, you already have ten other Jeeps that are in exactly the same boat—are these “free” Jeeps any more worthy of attention than your existing

That is how hoarding starts continues.

Finish something!!! Seriously, I know it’s easier to dream but you have to actually get one of your heaps in to the condition you dreamt about when you got it before getting yet another project.

NO

I see that much rust and I am giving a hard no on almost any car. Those Jeeps have a pandemic of rust, and they aren’t rare or special. They are free for a reason.

It’s not even coincidence, they’ve been publicly working on these titles for a while. We didn’t know what they were until now. They didn’t just start doing R&D for the Index when the EGS released, and similarly they didn’t just start acquiring studios and developing those games to push the Index either. While I

You haven’t driven a modern minivan, have you?  We have a 12 year old Odyssey for us and our two kids and its a life changer.  It seats 8 in a pinch (meaning no need to relegate family to another car when making the trip to see my sister and her family) and there’s still room for a ton of stuff in the back.  And while

Increasingly I’m thinking people who want stick in their plain DD’s are kinda odd. I like driving stick in sporty cars. In traffic, driving legally, stick buys you nothing. The illusion you’re in control I guess. Stick isn’t as reliable as automatics these days. If this person had an automatic 2011 Fit, she wouldn’t

It’s the only right answer. Like you said, keep the Fit if, for some reason, you have to have a manual transmission in your life or you’ll die. But go with utility.
