Had the election gone the other way, we would be reading an article exactly like this, but on InfoWars and with the names switched. “Prominent Experts Agree: Hillary Stole the Presidency!”

Pages, Numbers, Keynote — Apple’s super easy to use iWork office suite.

Good luck using the coffee machine to make non-sausage-flavored coffee ever again.

This may be my new favorite Lifehacker comment section.

Well, exactly! If the HTML element is the same, Adblock would be unable to tell which ones the user has chosen to see and which ones he is forced to see. Like you said, the source does not matter. Block all posts or block none.

They already have a “Sponsored” label for ads, but HTML-wise, the ad could be no different from another post while retaining the label.

To me, fraudulent (and, to a lesser degree, non-fraudulent) like&share-to-win pages are the biggest annoyance. Facebook has done pretty much nothing to address this issue.

Facebook, thankfully, does not have banner ads.

I think the point is that sponsored/suggested stories will now be indistinguishable from other posts. Facebook’s inner workings currently have two main sources for stories — friends and liked pages. You can’t adblock one of these sources, or a particular friend/page (Facebook lets you unfollow them). If I understand

Thank you!! I was so worried that I’m the only one and there is something wrong with me, like I’m missing a nerve or something.

I’m using the older one on my Windows machine. It’s an okay app, but has been due for an update for a while now. Messenger, on the other hand, is a welcome addition. I’m kinda hoping an OS X release is coming as well — I use the unofficial Facebook Messenger app quite a lot on my MacBook.

I think it's .reg, not .bat.

*inser friendly but ultimately condescending “console peasant” joke here*

The ending of this is glorious. I wish at some point he would have tethered two helicopters to each other, though.

I couldn’t help but read the loading screen introduction in the magnificient voice of Civ's narrator. This is gold!

Evidently, the “r” is silent.

“Got your eyes!”

For those who prefer SoundHound over Shazam, this app has a great Spotify integration as well. I've set it up so that it automatically saves my tagged tracks to a Spotify playlist that I can later go through and categorize the songs into more specific playlists.

Thanks for the article, it definitely cleared up a few things for me, especially regarding performance issues. I’d like to share an alternative to full-on Windows virtualization. I’m a Mac-only user since 2009, and mostly I get by just fine. I don’t need Windows software for work or studies, and I don’t even use any

Apparently, there just doesn’t seem to be a significant market for those. If you think otherwise, though, you could make your debut as an app developer with such apps!
