i cant go but i advise anyone who can TO GO, after seeing how kotaku does a party at PAX East (free nachos and beer, meeting totilo and geoff keighley ftw!), I cant wait to make it to another.

@brooks.curly: some people like to have really good videocards and no overheating

@Praetor: was explained in like season 2, experiments by dharma

@Jon: what was the last version of Cubase you used? I'm on C5 (my first legitimately owned version) and I love it, support is pretty good so far but I haven't had much reason to call in general

@somarix: in a sense, I was just saying soundcards can be good for games and stuff but blow for full out music. I have a montego ddl in my media/gaming machine, and a m-audio firewire 1814 in the studio :)

@somarix: yeah, but how many VSTs or audio processing plugins are you running? from what I remember, rebirth/reason stuff is very low demanding, though its been quite a few years since I messed with it. But I have a good feeling if you loaded up some Native Instruments Massive, Nexus 2, or something similar it might

@Jon: you can get decent soundcards cheap, the CI2 from steinberg is only 200$, works better if youre a Cubase user though :)

@Jon: as a musician you should not be using something from creative or asus or realtek, you should be using something from M-Audio, Presonus, RME, etc. easily get around 5-10ms on a decent computer.

if you got to pick the free PSN game a month, id do it, i pay more than 70 a year in PSN games easily (got I think 30 or 40 downloaded games on my ps3 at this point)

@Twilight Sea: you can coop pretty easily already, just be in a party with someone and pick 2v2. ive done plenty of matches with a friend

@Cheese Addict: since its steam, its very possible the free between those dates means doesnt work after those dates, kind of like the free team fortress 2 weekends

@Leukocyte: han shat first... wait thats not how it goes.

@TheBigCheese_: but if you pay 7$ one month , and only play 10 hours each month for two months, youre already saving 6$

for anyone wondering, the ball on the end of the move controller is actually really soft, its like rubbery spongy feeling, when i was at the boston move party they showed us this.
