Has a video game ever influenced an entire market the same way Gran Turismo has? I could say that perhaps Initial D (and the related TV show) inflated the values of late 80s AE86 chassis cars... but Gran Turismo has turned an entire fleet of Japanese cars into unobtainium.

I’m assuming you’re talking about the Previous Pathfinder. Not the sad excuse of a CUV that is now. I had an 03, so the current model makes me sad... Even mine was Unibody, but at least it didn’t look like the current stationwagon.

Donks and Squatters are definitely not my thing, but this law fails the Footloose Test. Clearly the law exists because people hate the look and, maybe, the people driving these trucks. Otherwise it would have been written differently. Show me some empirical evidence of a safety issue and we can talk.
