Quick bit of history for the Armada/QX80/QX56:
They only shared the F-Alpha platform with Titan (and Xterra, Pathfinder, and Frontier) for their first gen.
They currently share a platform with the Patrol, used around the world, which saves a lot more money than trying to mod the US-only Titan.

Rob freaking Liefield.
Dang.

Suzuki Grand Vitara
In looking for an image, it turns out it is still made (by someone; I can’t always tell which was the original badge) around the world.
I rode in one at a Ducks Unlimited outdoor festival about 20 years ago. The only thing that was cool was that the salesman didn’t care if I flogged it around the

This is extremely common. The F-Alpha platform from Nissan pretty much allows the Xterra, Pathfinder (through 2012), and Frontier to take the V8(VK56DE), its transmission, and front suspension.
The suspension swap is known as the “Titan Swap”, which comes in half- and whole- varieties. Aftermarket companies sell Titan

Wait...
You have a Charger?

Nope.  Just outside of Richmond, VA.

This is what amounts to a prop bet.  There are agencies that insure this kind of thing.  Country Club/Dealership puts up the thousand dollar premium, gets to advertise, and then go home.  If someone wins it, the insurance company pays for the truck, because they lost the “prop bet.”

Air con? “Air seem fine to me...”

Would I drive it to get a single gallon of milk?
Yes.
Would I drive it

I know I am waaaay late to this conversation, but did everyone just let this gem slide?

To be fair, a moose once killed half of the graduating class of my wife’s high school.

Homogeny does actually solve a lot of problems.

As a screaming, long-haired, hippie, pinko, tree-hugger, I would suggest that Keurig was a terrible idea in the first place. The CRM (Coffee Rights Management) was easily defeated, but all of those single-use plastic pods make me sick.

“Worst” is objective, so I am going to squeeze this in to “How niche can you get whilst shooting yourself in the foot?”

Rogue One Nissan Rogue

You had to REALLY want this. And, if you did, there was no way to upsell you.
This was awesome for the nine people that wanted
A: New Car
B: Nissan Rogue
C: Star Wars theme
D: A

Frontiers actually cost less to own than Tacomas for repairs and maintenance.
Still, it may not be about just that. There is a slant to it that doesn’t usually get looked at:
In the case of the P4X, the MSRP increased 3.67%. If they only sell 2.5% less because of the price increase, they have still made more money.

“I just wish it had a chrome bumper”
I do not think any of these would look better with chrome, and I am a middle-aged white guy.

And with the current off-road fad, Nissan went for it with the Frontier Pro-4X
Nissan has had P4X in 2009. It was the Nismo trim before that.
Xterras had trims called “Off-Road” before they

Yes, kick, because Nissan still employs foot-operated parking brakes in both of its pickups. That might be somewhat charming if it didn’t reflect how dated they feel relative to the competition.”

Or, you know, something that works great maybe doesn’t need changing.  Everyone drools over how great Toyota is, but

That Z has me scouring Facespace marketplace. Goodbye, productivity!

Yes, I do.
Please describe where I said otherwise.

You did note the author of this blog post, didn’t you?  It will make more sense then.

Got your flamesuit on?  You are about to be in for a ride.

I do not see that.
Neither Erin nor I mentioned the hit-and-run.
Just about everyone else did.
I took issue with “mowed down a cyclist.” I don’t think it represents what happened. I Miss Splinter thinks it does.
I think the people hurt and killed by the driver in Charlottesville were “mowed down”, if that helps explain
