Congratulations on the install!
Virginia offers no state incentives, but does offer 1:1 kWh credit. Our major utility, Dominion, has promised to ‘net zero carbon’ by 2050, with checkins along the way, so they allow us to build arrays that equal 150% of our annual usage to leave room for EVs.

I went live at the end of

I agree. I know companies can’t mess with peoples’ monies like this, but were it private, and I could try what I wanted, there would be Electric AWD screamers, Luxo-Pickups with 40" tires, and Bentley competitors.
I mean, as a last hurrah, of course, because what do they have to lose at this point? Obscuring their

You have no idea how refreshing it is to see the writing of another classically trained economist.
So that you know; I get it.

And in the winter? :)
I have an R51. In the cool spring and summer, I can get 20 with a tailwind at 65-70.
As it stands, my current tank is 15.7.
Congrats on the 6-speed; they are not that common.

You are right; I should have said hybrid. I don’t know how the Jeep is doing with theirs, but I wouldn’t mind getting 30 miles on a battery, so I could commute to work, but have gas when I wanted to go play in the mud.

Slow sales killed it the first time.  Part of those slow sales was the abysmal gas mileage, even for

1st Gear: Nissan fanboi here; they are starting to look okay. That Pathfinder will make people feel rugged again, which will help it sell. If they price the truck right, then they did the whole damn thing right.
I don’t understand the Rogue, but it seems fine.
The new CVT supplier doesn’t suck. (I mean, CVTs suck, but

Samesies. That is not an 8k truck for me.
In my heart of hearts, I believe this is for someone and that he will sell.

After all, he knows what he has.

It may also be the case, based on my bias and complete lack of information, that the evil Communist party is cracking down on unbridled capitalism (re: wild west sort of environment we see now).
Once the approved manufacturers are found and backed by the Party, the price will go up and, possibly, the safety.

Electricity is a national commodity, so, a bit? Most PowerCo’s are regulated by state. Mine, Virginia, has to source green in the next 10? years (I’d have to look to be certain). I took advantage of a federal tax credit to install solar. In short, I make more than I take, and send back when I am making excess. I am

I am mad I had to scroll this far for a TANSTAAFL, but was glad to see it.
Take your star, good sir.

I simultaneously want to say “You are right”, but I don’t want to star it and accidentally indicate support for the CVT....

My current ‘12 Pathfinder build.
I am not saying I won’t have an electric truck in the future, but this is what I have and what I am doing now.
I already put up the solar array at 150% of my usage to leave room for charging in the future for the cost of sun.

Yes.  If I recall looking at other forums, this has been done to great effect.  It also opens up small engine swaps, if so desired, as it is basically a pair of frame rails with a motor dropped between it and a cab on top.

Unless tires get rotated.... That would make it wonky.

A cool breeze on your gibbly bits?

I do love these.  I am in the process of being stupid to my Pathfinder (of COURSE the 35's will fit!), but I know I will want one of these again....

It took me exactly 1st gear to figure out that Comrade Shilling wrote this one.
Why get to the end and take an unnecessary dump on Tesla fans?
Oh, this must be Shilling.

For a hot second, I thought that was a melted Jeep Liberty.

And then either the weird reverse triangle or an introduced weak spot with rear wheel spacers.

ex ‘15 P4X owner here, current ‘12 Pathfinder owner, because kids.

I may have to go look up where “Hardbody” meets “’87 Pathfinder” (and I think it is at the corner of Same Platform and Same Damn Thing), but I think this was on my ‘87 Pathfinder.

It was useful.  I guess I never realized just how useful.
