I will coach my way and so you will coach yours. 8 year olds aren’t stupid and I have never coddled my players, I just disagree that an 8 year old should be taught slide tackling. I like the way you describe how you introduce the skill and that it is only a single session. but very few if any can master the timing and

Jesus, it’s almost amazing that you still somehow continue to outdo yourself in raging stupidity. What a clown.

I noticed your second comment is posted as a reply to your own previous one, only five minutes apart — you do realize you can edit the comment for up to 15 minutes, right? Just thought I’d mention that in case you’re a newbie.

Except that was before Pete Wilson doubled down on anti-immigrant sentiment, and before the state GOP got so desperate that put all their eggs in the Governator basket.

Nah, man. High is shoulders and above. Turf goes both ways. Stop glorifying this kid gooning people.

Yeah, no. The kid is head hunting and his fends are enough to warrant a word from the sir.

“High fends will generally be allowed in rugby unless the referee rules that the fend is too forceful, constituting a strike rather than a push.”

Oh shit. We found an American college club rugby player, which is basically a hardass quidditch type.

The top European academies are for sure NOT teaching their 8 year olds slide tackling. The kids represent their income for their club for the foreseeable future and their ability to slide tackle is about dead last on the things that will get them sold. It means fuck all in the top leagues of the world.

I’m just here to tell you I greatly appreciate when someone who knows what they’re talking about schools morons. You, sir, are schooling morons.

this is an excellent point. that kid should not be allowed on a rugby pitch.

Uh, natural turf is still “turf”, fuck face. Rewatch the kid getting planted around 13 second in.

Now where did I put that . . .

Uh, are you for real? Do you even rugby, bruh? I’ve been pull aside (and sin binned) for less. Not all stiff arms are legal and the ref can treat them as high tackles if they stray in to the area of open hand strikes, and I quote: “High fends will generally be allowed in rugby unless the referee rules that the fend is

Calm down. It’s against the rules, some of these kids have never played soccer before, this is the park district too, not AYSO or whatever other soccer organization that pops up on a weekly basis.

Nah, watch their heads bounce off the turf. Not acceptable.

Oh, I’m familiar but this isn’t the fucking Six Nations final. Also, they’re not always legal. “High fends will generally be allowed in rugby unless the referee rules that the fend is too forceful, constituting a strike rather than a push.” Player safety is paramount to badass stiff arms applied to clearly inferior

He’s in a hurry because the wife and kids are waiting in the car.

Hearing coaches talk about “growth plates” and “maturity” kind of goes out the window when a very large kid is mowing down kids his age. Feelings aside, growth plates don’t mean shit when a kid like this is breaking other kids bones.

Perhaps they redid the age groups like the geniuses in youth soccer, so now my 6 year old is in U8 and playing with 9 year olds.
