Borderlands 2 would have been a much better game if they’d been more aggressive with nerfing heavy overperforming builds early on in its lifetime.

She called out Lorenz real good.
Oh, damn. /r/blizzard was set to private and there are discussion megathreads on pretty much every other Blizzard game-specific subreddits. The /r/wow mods specifically said that they were putting up a stickied thread despite it being against the sub’s real-world politics rules because they’d spent the better part of…
The history of the ruleset and tiering discussions over at Smogon is terribly interesting stuff over time, too. They’re more willing these days to set rules barring specific strategies when those strategies effectively take over the ladder than they were just a few generations back; whether that’s a good thing or a…
Film was a hell of a ride. It’s got that pure give-no-damns Gurren-Lagann energy, and even if the story could stand to be a little meatier (and even if parts of it felt very much like Gurren-Lagann with the parts rearranged and the serial numbers filed off), the action was beautifully animated and hype beyond reason.
Some.
Dragon Quest 1 certainly aged the most poorly of the bunch.
I think the Pre-Sequel was good in its own way. Certainly Claptrap is quite possibly the single most fun character I’ve played in my very long history with the series.
The problem is that it didn’t feel like it had much of a coherent endgame, or really, any particular compelling reason to play it for more than a single…

Note that this is physical console versions, only. Sorry PC gamers.

The real thing that irked me was when there were entire weapon classes that were almost entirely useless outside of extremely specific cases once UVHM scaling hit.
That Wii Punch-Out! run was absolutely insane.
I’ve seen a version of this for Dwarf Fortress, but I have no idea if the EVE version or the DF version is the original.
EVE has a shockingly good community, considering its reputation. As far as player interactions, kind of depends on what you do; if you largely keep to yourself in out-of-the-way areas people will pretty much leave you alone, but if you bumble around people will usually chat, and lots will offer advice if asked.
I wanted to gift a copy of Hades to a streamer so he could run it on stream for everybody. Imagine my surprise when I come to find out that apparently the Epic Store doesn’t support frickin’ gifting.
Important update: Several games are having their prices changed or are being pulled from the sale. Borderlands 3 preorders are out and HADES is up to $15 from $7 as of the time of this writing; Vampire: The Masquerade 2 has been apparently pulled from the store entirely for the moment.
Chrono Trigger has sequel potential. A direct sequel (ignoring Chrono Cross) or a full post-Cross sequel would sell like hotcakes.
They’re not going to make an FF5-2 or FF6-2.
Ernest Saves Christmas is pretty charming.
Yeah, it does seem odd that a game with a huge-but-finite world and amount of content commands the same price tag as a game which is not, for most intents and purposes, bound by that restriction.

It’s in the Part One video, but my favorite so far is the Devil.
Applying the offer to digital was pretty much the only silver lining of the entire gutting of the program, and the T&C is quite clear that digital purchases are included. Shep just needs to check his info and make a correction to the article.
