Taking all bets on whether removing the game from circulation gave them time to course-change and set the game on a sustainable path vs. pissed away any goodwill and left people suspicious of the return.

Considering Gabe also answers his own email a lot of the time, I’d believe it.
Arc System Works has also announced that the next Guilty Gear: Strive character will be shown off for Game Awards.
> Everything about its setting feels hilariously contrived because it exists literally just for The Hero™. Very little about Sheikah tech feels like it was made to serve them in their time.
Bray should have had the whole world in his hands.
Still might be worthwhile if they keep doing the $5 coupons, which is the only reason I maintain a membership (and just spend it on monthly digital credits for my platform of choice), but not nearly so much as before, enough that I’ll probably not renew again myself...
I’m less intoxicated by the appeal of Game Pass and more intoxicated by even the possibility that Microsoft might clean house at Activision.
Please fire Bobby Kotick out of a cannon into the sun. Somebody. We can crowdfund the cannon.
Joel, dammit, you’ve killed enough people to know that you shouldn’t remove the object from a puncture/impalement wound until treatment is available! Come on, man!
sure, but why, when you’re adapting something, would you adapt out one of the most iconic and recognizable concepts in favor of maybe being a hair more realistic?
It’s psychological FOMO bullshittery intended to coerce people into coughing up extra money, and “just don’t buy them” doesn’t necessarily work for everyone.
I would like my video games to not try to psych gimmick me into giving them money, thanks.
right wing internet kids who wank to Nick Fuentes
My understanding is that there’s a new UI implemented for labor management in the game, so DT might not be as mandatory as it once was.
That said, the back end of the game is going to be kept on par with the free version. I expect DT will have to update for compatibility, but I don’t expect they’ll have any special…
Pokemon isn’t really developed or balanced for the 6v6 singles format, so there’s absolutely a required layer of houseruling in order to make it so. It really is not all that different from the competitive Smash community’s rulesmaking, since Smash, similarly, isn’t really developed with the format they use in mind.
Why am I not surprised at the flood of anti-Smogon crying in this comment section?
Every time, I swear, the same wave of “those people do not play the game like I think they should, booooo!” It’s as bad as competitive vs. noncompetitive Smash players.
Reputable studies? Not sure.
You know, that’s entirely fair (Especially in the face of how entitled certain types of player can be), but I still do think that there’s a certain point where you need to either just not talk or let a PR goon write a statement for you and then just not talk. The BEWARE MY RULES stuff really just fanned this up into…
“Get blocked on Twitter by Hideki Kamiya” was even a backer award for the Wonderful 101 Remastered kickstarter.
I think he could have handled this better (there’s a time to turn off “the bit” and speak more professionally), but it’s not like it was out of character or anything.
Mush, kinda. I’ve never had much luck with batter or breading, myself.
If you rewatch that film with the intent of watching the scenes purely to see how the ‘toons interact with the physical scene, it’s fucking mindblowing. There’s a lot of background stuff that absolutely did not have to be done the way it was.
It’s really crazy how far ahead of his time Hoskins was in that film. He was doing a hell of a job of what was effectively green-screen CGI-era acting years before that was even remotely a thing.
