Any time you see “Free DLC” it means one of two things: 1) they are giving away for multiplayer to remain relevant and to keep contact identical across the playerbase, or 2) for single-player games it means the game isn’t finished.

I get your overall complaint but in the case of this game there’s no evidence it happened. Yet.

Well, they did start over to make the game a second time instead if updating the graphics and recompiling the game like the second release. They made it again. The terminology is correct even though that didn’t change anything fundamental.

I’m a lot like you. Played the trilogy at least six times. I hated Andromeda so much I just wanted it to end. I purposely tried to do as little as possible so to kill squadmates ... And you can’t. They all survive regardless. There’s literally no impact to you or squadmates based on your decisions. The game is a joke.

The DICE engine wasn’t really the problem. They were forced to recreate existing mechanics in it and nobody on the team knew how to use it. The game itself runs fine. But it took them nearly the entire development time to recreate all the game mechanics and during that period the main story was changed multiple times.

If you think facial animations (that were largely fixed 24-hours after release) are what killed this game you obviously weren’t paying attention to its larger problems.

What you’ve described is very common with PSUs. I began working on PCs when I was 25 years ago when I was nine and aside from HDDs the PSU is typically the problem. Recently I had another fail to post and the culprit was a GPU not seated tight enough.

Don’t be intimidated by building it yourself. So a little research, pick up an anti static pad and a wrist strap to ground yourself.
