Knoppix. To be fair its the only live CD I've used, but I've used it often, for multiple purposes, and it has the added feature of being able to install itself onto the hdd.

Wait, when you say it can't save Word files back into Word format, you really just mean OOXML, right? B/c OO has always been able to open and save good old .DOC. Has that changed?

Or, you could buy the actual IKEA desk components which are exactly the same as this, with the bonus of the top being designed for the legs and a few other compatible accoutrements.

I've never needed any sort of tools to get a SIM card out. The whole point of SIM cards is that they are removable.

Srsly?! iPhones can't copy and paste? Hell, Palm has had than since, what, PalmOS 1.0? (OK, maybe 3.0.) How is it that PalmOS is continually losing market share to these proprietary lame excuses like Symbian and iPhone's OS (and the myriad other phone-specific systems)?

With the two top options being upwards of $30 and no free options getting a decent rating, I'm inclined to just make my own.
