It’s very effective at getting people to hate themselves, but hating yourself doesn’t generally lead to positive change. Not that you can’t be healthy at a higher weight than society tells us is attractive.

I’m guessing the site is underperforming, and the endgame is to get purchased by another entity, which will allow the executives to profit and move on to a new venture. At that point the future of the site will belong to a capital organization that will find a way to monetize its decline.

“OnlyFans to go out of business” would be a nice alternate headline.

What I can’t wrap my mind around is that in order to make themselves a better investment, they destroyed the part of their business that makes them profitable in the first place. And what is so staggering to me is that I’m certain some investors are still going to see fit dumbing a ton of money in this thing.

Ordinary folks in comics are supernaturally even-keeled and will recover from almost any imaginable trauma in no time flat, with the occasional exception of a civilian who is so traumatized by something that happened that they turn into a supervillain.

I’ve just realized, this is... probably gonna come up A LOT, isn’t it? Every single new corner of the MCU for the forseeable future is going to have to cover ‘so where were you guys when half the universe was dead for five years’.
