I was trying to explain Tiger King to a friend, and I said “Well, it’s crazy enough that the guy running a sex cult isn’t the main story” “Well, maybe if the guy running a sex cult had had tigers” “He did have tigers! Still not the main story.”

It sounds like he’s either got serious ego problems, or he’s taking the piss.”

You ever read something that you agree with, but it’s the way it’s presented is so obnoxious you want to tell the person to fuck off anyway?

I wonder if he’ll still think this after the Snyder cut is released?

I stopped playing video games 15 years ago but this game, which I had literally never heard of until last week, may convince me to come back. It’s definitely not good... but it’s not boring. Between a few genuinely good *bits* and a lot of so-bad-it’s-kinda-good acting and weirdness, I find it pretty watchable.

People who think Dune is awful really haven’t seen a lot of bad movies.

So what’s more likely: The gov’t bails them out whenever this next stimulus gets done, or the studios wait until they declare bankruptcy and scoop them up on the cheap?

COVID is the film-killer.
