Reads like poetry, stunning.

I will genuinely never not be impressed by the, 5 shows(?) that were on at the same time, all the while having crossovers and smaller guest appearances from people from other shows. Were they sometimes more self-contained than they should’ve been? Yes. But even when Felicity or Diggle showed up in Flash or when Wally

That’s honestly so nuts. They really struck gold with those three.

That’s fair, he hadn’t dealt with too many supernatural (let alone extraterrestrial) things until that point.

I’ll always be a fairly staunch defender of the Arrowverse, while acknowledging it’s many many many flaws and missed potential.

Others have mentioned a lot of omitted shows from this list already, but they bear repeating, considering the attention a lot of them got. It just weird that you wouldn’t mention these.

I have never watched the prestigious “MTV Movie & TV Awards” but this list of categories, nominees and winners makes me feel like I’m in a fever dream?

I love you for this

Agreed! Is is odd, isn’t it? Since you’d think that Mandalorians are still just people, even with their creed and fancy gadgets. Like, you’d talk about other things too. At least most of them would, I reckon, aside from the Armorer.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. It definitely hit the beats it needed to. Emotionally cathartic and complex, it left me desperately wanting the second season already. It also followed the game extremely closely, as did Ep 8 for its large majority (along with changes I preferred to the game, personally).

The 100 is the perfect example of sticking with a a show initially seen as something mediocre to see it evolve into something that didn’t get nearly enough credit for its superb storytelling, characterization, and even better world-building.

Hiam Abbass better be back and be given at least three scenes of badassery, even if they are done just through her facial expressions.

I have seen maybe one or two episodes of The Bachelor ever and I have no intention of starting now, but this headline drew me in. I see the pictures of these guys occasionally and they’re so intensely generically and conventionally attractive that I can’t help but be 100% certain that they’re all wet blankets

Philip and Elizabeth Jennings. Whether their relationship is tragic or not is up for debate, but their lives sure were pretty damn miserable. The fact that they even eventually fell in love was really a stroke of luck or they just got so used to each other that there wasn’t another choice. Not after the kids, anyway.

Is it really an absurd casting choice to have a known and excellent character actress play such a part?

It’s a shame to hear that about Snowpiercer S3, I’ve yet to see it though. But S2 gave, me personally, one of the best seasons of TV that year. And that’s really purely because how flat out awesome it got with everything it set up in S1 (+ Sean Bean). Also shout out to that awesome Melanie bottle episode!

I can’t exactly put my finger on it, but I feel like Criminal Minds had something unique going for it that contributed to its longevity. Probably because the characters are very memorable and have a fantastic group dynamic. NCIS comes to mind here as well. It was also very consistent regarding ratings for a far longer

I remember the show having a very dedicated (if not necessarily huge) fanbase, so I think that and the evergreen option of raking in cash through Paramount+ were the reasons. I’m not actually sure how much Paramount+ costs and how many have now signed up because of this revival, so feel free to correct me on that.

What’s the deal with some of these pictures looking stilted, out of focus, and just flat out blurry?

I really love how that hour felt like a breeze. Everything was wonderfully paced, the story tight and the actors at their best. I’ve been pretty lukewarm on this so far. It’s been interesting enough, but the characters have all so far been pretty same-y. At least, none have been as dynamic as many were in GoT.
