I’m glad I’m not the only one having this opinion. I felt really bad when my overwhelming reaction to Titane was “That’s it?” because I was told that this was a movie unlike no other. And while that kind of tracks, my expectations were wildly different I suppose.

I tentatively want to say that this is my favourite episode of the series thus far. S3 has been full of bangers though. The shareholder meeting coming to mind first and foremost. One thing I’d like to see more though, is returning characters. Maybe it’s just me, but I’d love to see Holly Hunter tear the scenery apart

“Succession doesn’t just dangle the carrot, it grabs the carrot away and takes a big bite right in front of you.”

This largely signals good news and I hope it rings true. Not sure how much of an unpopular opinion this is, but I wasn’t the biggest fan of the first season.

Their tension got turned up a shitton in the bathroom. Like yeah, they’re both absolutely horrendous people, but bloody hell I haven’t seen sexual chemistry like that in a while in a show. I wonder how all that will turn out and how Gerri will factor into this.

The Veep feel of this episode was insane. Like, the whole premise here and how it worked out was so similar to Joint Session - S4E1 and it was fucking awesome.

While I really think the next best step for them is to legit make Wanda a villain for a bit, I agree that they probanly won’t. At most, she’ll be seen as villainous, especially taking into account the ending of Wandavision, but overall she’s still too sympathetic now. Her goal itself pretty much spells it out, no

I’d say she’s both. Tbh, most Arrowverse shows have solid casts, but Benoist really rose above most others there. When she and Chyler Leigh are in a scene together, it's just magic, really. The Crisis crossover also showed that Benoist really brings out the best in her co-stars, it was great to see.

Agreed. Despite the commendable work that everyone does here, they feel like the people they’re portraying only in certain parts. Never completely. But that’s really not too surprising when looking back at People vs OJ. I haven’t watched Versace, so I can’t say anything about that.

Agreed, it was very standard fare for a while, but I really do think its twists and reveals and the sheer camp it becomes really make up for it. If anything it should have been more campy. I don’t think we’ve seen something like this for a while and while some of that can be attributed to nostalgia, it’s still a good

I feel like Arrival was just as long as it needed to be, in order to make the third act’s significant beats feel earned and not rushed. I’m biased here, mind you, since it’s really my favourite Villeneuve movie and up there with my very favourite sci-fi media.

Hard agree on Keri Russell and Sandra Oh. For the latter, I think her time is coming soon, considering how much more things she’s been doing after leaving Grey’s. I also really admire her skill in navigating the acting world and it’s awesome that she has that rock solid credibility to really choose what she wants to

As do I, my friend.

I’m with you. Foy was simply sublime in both of her Crown seasons, but goddamn it Keri acted her ass off in that final season. The final season as a whole was pitch perfect, but man it was really Elizabeth as a character who just stood out from the rest. Russell was in a league of her own that year and I will never

She was the goddamn powerhouse MVP of the whole show

I’m very glad that someone shares the love for Roanoke as much as I do. My ranking is the same for Asylum and Roanoke, except Coven would still be in third place, purely because of how much fun it was having. Then it becomes muddled after that for me.

Frankly, this episode really deserves that F grade, it just plain sucked. I especially agree with your first two paragraphs, cause your thoughts are exactly the ones I had. The looming question being: “WHY?! This is an anthology series, it makes absolutely no bloody sense to have THREE of them in the Murder House.” I

Oh no no, that’s purely about them in the context of AHS, not the genre in general. Those two things have been a part of horror stuff as far as I can remember hah. In Murphy’s case, I mainly thought about what Murder House did with all of its ghosts and where he could have drawn inspiration from. With King, I was once

It’s a very good line-up of alums, pretty much every personal favourite of mine is returning. Aaaaand they snagged Neal McDonough for “Death Valley” so hell yes I’m excited.

Oh absolutely, King’s adaptations have been very frequent recently, some better than others. But hey, as long as new creatives get to do stuff, I’m here for them.
