It’s popular to hate on things nowadays and pick them apart to diminish their value, so I wasn’t sure whether I could really like WandaVision after it ended or not. But y’know, screw it, WV was the most original thing Marvel has done in a long while. It really doesn’t matter whether it “stuck the landing” (even if it

As has been the case with every D+ show right now, I genuinely feel that Loki would benefit from like... two more episodes. Maybe it really is just me, but everything feels rushed to the degree where I feel like relationships were built and plot things happened off-screen.

I get where people are coming from, because Wanda should have been arrested right then and there for keeping an entire town hostage, grief or not. Whether SWORD trying to arrest her would have worked, is another question (hint: it wouldn’t have). And to end yet another Marvel project with Wanda in prison would have

I can already imagine Rian being like: “It’s okay, Kate, I’ll let you be in a probably great movie for a change,” and Kate Hudson’s agent is just behind her mouthing “Thank you!” And maybe we can all one day forget that Music existed.

Damn, this was a great read! It’s truly wonderful when games merit such discussion and analysis, as well as being considered legitimate pieces of art. And well, Isaac is just a great game.

On an unrelated note, and only because I have nowhere else to ask this, why has there been virtually no coverage regarding Mass

I’m genuinely ecstatic that Hahn is getting more and more meaty roles, because boy does she deserve them. She has always been great imo, just that she’s been generally typecast in comedies. Not that it can’t be funny, but she’s way more hilarious than many of her movies have really given her credit for.

I wouldn’t say that Monáe can’t act, more that she needs strong direction to work well. I found her plenty good in Hidden Figures, Homecoming and even Antebellum (which isn’t a great movie, but she did well). I’m pretty confident that Johnson can draw out a great performance from her.

Not being American, I genuinely thought this was a Legends of Tomorrow spin-off announcement that I hadn’t yet heard of...

Nah, Moore’s significant TV stuff has been 30 Rock and Game Change. Other than that, she’s shown up in a single episode in some shows as either herself or just someone people can recognize. I’m still very much for this, cause I’ve yearned for a good Julianne Moore TV project for a long time. Aka something like what

Huh really? It makes a ton of sense to not include a COVID story of any kind and frankly, if that was their original plan, I’m glad they decided in favour of the one we got. It’s mainly the execution of the Flag-Smasher story that fell flat. The idea itself and what they outlined for the group in the first few

This kind of makes me wish that the show had eight or so episodes. Or hell, just have all of the Disney+ shows have 10 episode seasons. Now, I don’t doubt that we’ll get more of Sharon at some point in the future, whenever that may be. However, I genuinely would have wanted an episode solely dedicated to her and what

Fair points! They do definitely look like the types who would cause all sorts of mayhem if the plot asked for it. I’ll give LJ this, her moment with Alex in the dome overlooking the sky was great. It showed how accustomed she was to this new world and how death was such a normal occurrence that people inevitably

Your Ruth prediction makes so much sense, I hate it haha. Though I doubt they’ll try to kill her. She’ll have at least Winnie and Lights on her side. I personally think that she’ll have more of a role with Wilford for a while, now that she’s stuck as one of the primary people keeping things from going to shit.

I was genuinely expecting to see Alex punch LJ, but alas.

This is going to be a long one, but I’ll still try to be as concise as I can. I just have a lot of thoughts regarding this.

She will probably remain the definitive Supergirl for years to come. Her portrayal is bloody nuanced and it was especially visible during Crisis that Benoist brings out the best in her scene partners. She is likely one of the best actors in the Arrowverse in general. Though Supergirl overall has a banger cast anyway.

We don’t even have Disney+ in these parts yet (that being Eastern Europe/Baltic States/etc.)

While I really would have liked to have S&L and Supergirl be on air at the same time for longer than just one season, I think the former will easily take over the hopeful tone that the latter has shouted form the rooftops for soon to be six seasons.

This was a pretty stellar finisher for an already amazing series. People really don’t seem to understand that this was Wanda’s story. They chronicled the rise of the Scarlet Witch marvelously and I genuinely cried at several moments because of how poignant and triumphant it was.
