I too am old and paid of my loans. Great for me. Then I was able to buy a house in my 30s and start saving for retirement in my 40s. In many ways I was lucky and in a few ways I made smart choices. That doesn’t mean I don’t support debt forgiveness now.

Sounds like there’s no remedy for false accusations.

My credits’ been frozen but I’m thinking now is time get a new checking account. I haven’t liked my bank since they bought out my small regional one several years ago but inertia has stopped me from changing it.

It has happened before.

I would put Park Chan-wook’s The Handmaiden the top of my list and highly recommend it to any fan of the genre who hasn’t seen it. An all around brilliant film.

I have (an love) my silicone popcorn bowl. It takes about three minutes to pop the corn while chocolate melts in the microwave in seconds. While it might be less bad, i expect it would still be bad.

That’s a solid idea. I have popped the popcorn then mixed in some briefly microwaved dark chocolate chips. Which is easier then finely chopped up chocolate but yours would give the popcorn a more consistent coverage, I think.

Have you not eaten popcorn and M&Ms at the same time?

I loved the film version. The cinematography was excellent. Probably my favorite film adaptation of a Shakespeare play.

I love HHRenovations. I watched the seasons on Hulu at least twice (because you’re never really paying attention when watching). That Chicago couple and their 3rd story. I still wonder about them.

I’ve been offered logins to Apple tv (for Ted Lasso) and Paramount+ (to finally watch The Good Fight) and I've refused them because there's already to much out there to tempt me into wasting more time. So I'm going to pass on paying for new channels.

I hate on those shows when they complain about “wasting” money to update the electrical and plumbing. Mechanicals - especially those that are hidden in walls - are the FIRST thing you should be updating. I don’t want to have to tear out my 20k trendy boring kitchen because the old pipes need to be replaced two years

If you go down the Bob Wells rabbithole on youtube, for many it’s much more depressing than the film. Then youtube will contrast videos of those living in a minivan on $800/mo with young influencers in $100k conversions. It’s fascinating and sad and very addictive.

Having watched approximately 1 million youtube video, the correct answer if you want room and off-road capability is a former ambulance with a diesel engine (there are specific years but I don’t recall the details). Also lots of outdoor storage areas including the one designed for O2 storage that would be safe for

I seem to recall some controversy about the Leah Thompson/Duck sex scene in Howard The Duck back in the 80s.

I’ve been doing coffee ice cubes for years.

I agree. Somebody had an old Chrysler Newport - with an 8 track player! in the days of CDs - and we would fit half the floor in that thing going out for the night. We’d all have to get out before going over the railroad tracks or it would bottom out. Maybe not 20  but certainly a dozen.

Maybe a decade ago, you could go to the supermarket and refill gallon with filtered water containers cheap. One could certainly setup something where you reuse your containers. There would not only be less plastic but also less bottling and transportation costs/energy used. It just not as convenient or profitable.

Amazing dad. Less than perfect husband.

No indication from the film that they do. Just that they both know Cruella and she sent them both puppies.
