I haven’t got ‘hey baby’ from anyone other than actual aunties, but sometimes people go with a very sassy ‘hey guuuuuuuuurrrrrrrl’, but I’m the rude one if I roll my eyes.

Ember Island Players is one of those episodes of TV that I watch when I need a laugh, and I’m always surprised how much I laugh during season 3. As serious as it’s supposed to be, so of the biggest laughs (for me, anyway) are in that season. A personal favourite is The Beach (3x05).

The Amethyst episodes in general get me the worst. She’s my favourite.

I cannot watch that episode anymore. I once saw my little sister was watching it, and I started crying before it even got to that scene. She joined me in the tears when that line hit.

This season’s episode with a Harriet Tubman story is excellent.
