More details for those interested. Maybe I’m wrong and it is an EV-only with no range-extender.

Fun cars that don’t require fooling with a clutch, for 15k or less...

RPF1 all the things, mostly because they are the lightest wheels you can get for the money.

Just because the business and marketing guys won’t let them make up-to-date fun things, doesn’t mean the engineers and designers have forgotten who they are.

Looks like the low spots of both vehicles ride around the lowest point the lug nuts reach in their orbit around the hub. (anecdotal reference in absence of specifications)

This is the first design in a decade where I feel like Honda ‘gets it’. No garish vents or chunky-cheap lines, just a clean style with elegant details that compliment function and aren’t afraid to be a little cute.

Mostly because this little guy carries a lot of visual parallels with the MX-30 shown here.

EV’s still need cooling. The grills, even small ones, on current ICE cars are purely for design as sufficient airflow is provided through the lower inlets of bumpers on just about every car. The same lower inlets that are still in use on the likes of a Tesla Model S.

We must continue to progress, irrelevant of any one else’s opinions!

I love this car, and was excited to see it come to market. Not at all surprised the US is being skipped, after all this nation is SUV crazy at the moment, and until/if that changes, small darlings like this and the FIAT 500 will never succeed.

Oh man, yes! If there is a complaint to muster about the RX-8 doors, it is this very ‘trap’ scenario. Oh, I didn’t realize, thank you for the clarification. Their corporate target seems far more realistic with that in mind.

The CX-9 really should have been billed as a CX-7 replacement, leaving CX-9 open for a proper 7-seat capable, 5-seat comfortable wheelbase. In Japan there is a modified version of the CX-7, marketed as CX-8, which somehow has a third-row but it’d never work stateside, space and comfort demands are just different. I’m

My four-year old opens the doors and loads herself into the RX-8, no fuss about it.

Every factory service manual I’ve seen in the last 20 years has specified correct removal and reinstallation of wheels, as per the manufacturer’s intentions. A branded dealer is beholden to complete work to specification.

I'd be willing to bet they lifted the mechanism designs direct from their earlier efforts on the 8. The handle looks almost identical save for the stylized surround.

I love mine, but then I’ve owned multiple rotary engined cars, so my reasoning and logic is not to be trusted.
