We need more fun/decent electric cars. The eGolf? The seats look cheap and there are NO options; you get what you get, which includes a palette of boring colors, compared to the lovely selection the normal Golf and GTI get. I was seriously looking at eGolfs until I saw how dreary they are. I want an electric GTI,

LOL! — I’m in The Springs, one of the others just moved to Parker.

I love Firefox on desktop, but the mobile experience doesn’t feel very polished. Chrome lost my use when they obscured the full URL path in the top-bar on mobile, with no option to change it. Sure, I could copy the URL using the provided button, take it to another app with text input, paste it, and review, but why?!

That bumper design looks rough, like a cheap fiberglass body kit. The rest of the car (that we can see) looks fine.

SAE sure knows how to charge for information! 50$ for each document/dyno-record.

Isn’t that all but the luxury airlines now? For domestic travel I actually like Frontier (but I also generally fly from their hubs). Their pilots and flight staff are generally easy going and have a bit of fun with the job, again, maybe just on the routes we frequent.

I moved to Colorado a couple years ago. The FD and 240Sx are long gone. Had a 2016 Miata when I came over here, but parted with it to better fund a home purchase. Presently have an RX-8 to fill the void left by the FD and ND (for now) and an 03' Mustang Mach1, which was in a friend’s family since new and now is in my

Maybe — I’ve had run ins with groups like these before and don’t care for them at all, but I’m all about their right to exist and share ideas with like-minded souls in their sepia circle-jerk.

Woops, didn’t realize I overshot the model so badly.

It’s not for me, but I understand it. Historic buildings are central to my interests, and assuring they remain traditional to their form; however, I’d want to replace the wiring and plumbing, hidden elements that only serve to risk the longevity and safety of the building and occupants.

I believe the long and short of it is:

They mention EV conversions as that is set to be the next big thing, and indeed Jalopnik has highlighted many examples of it in the last two weeks alone.

They aren’t wrong though; a Ferrari 250GTO would no longer be historic if you decided to drop an LT1 and T56 into it.

Also relevant; Justin Westbrook billed the ability to reverse an EV conversion as a positive, straight from Jaguar’s design goals.

They make a recommendation to save the original parts and engineer swaps to minimize changes to the original car, in order to maintain classification and value. Understand that they are taking the stance of historic cars and their value and adherence to the likes of Pebble Beach, where an EV drivetrain or even an ICE

A rather unique username that was hard to forget. Been quite a few years since I’d been there. I believe the last time I logged in was when mfp/Jason passed away. I was local to him and posted as Dopefish back then.

Side note. [H]|Cars?

The Wright brothers didn’t start with mass transit either.
