A good reason as any for Mazda to bring back the RX-8 design, sans the rotary. We need (want) a whole line of Miata-based cars in varying shapes and sizes. :)

Just buy a Subaru Crosstrek. They are a little hard to find below 15k, but they are out there.

You can gain a little more feel, mechanically, by using Maximum Motorsports caster/camber plates to increase the negative caster into the front suspension geometry. Doing so may introduce other undesirable drivability concerns in street driving conditions.

I only work with HPTuners on Ford platforms. Unfortunately, I can’t speak intelligently for other calibration solutions such as SCT, whom have a long history with Ford systems.

HP Tuners thus far hasn’t opened up the EPAS module, but they have offered calibration access to the Focus RS rear drive unit, suggesting they

Traction control OFF, and very effective.

Same rack, however the programming is revised in the GT350. I felt it was good but I also didn’t mind the EcoBoost/GT EPAS; all of them felt middle of the road for EPAS systems.

I was able to get them to waive the bogus fee on two of my purchases (one was FIAT, the other Mazda). A lot of dealers weren’t willing to waive it so I walked out on them. Helps to not need a car, but just want it, making it a lot easier to leave when the numbers don’t fit your goal.

I’m happy any time someone saves one of these Heeps. Glad you found good owners for not one, but two of your old projects.

Any progress on the new XJ? We have a beat 93' XJ my wife can’t seem to part with, but we’ve been tempted by more than one mostly-clean auction XJ at a good price with just a little bit of

Nor do they sell all that well.

People are too interested in the two proper SUV’s each brand sells, or any one of thirty or so CUV’s (cute utes) that each brand offers and seems to market above all else.

Luxury and minivan do not go together well in the states. Those that want luxury are seemingly programmed to think

The Toyota Century is *the* luxury sedan in my mind. It is everything the Lincoln Continental should have been, but failed to be, after 1969.

What is ‘it’?

Well then they don’t deserve him in the first place.

I’m just gonna say it. I bet it has a lot to do with the fact that these e-shoppers never get off their acre and actually buy something after all of the huffing and puffing about it.

As it may come up.

The 2004-2005 automatic cars had a different version of the 13B-MSP, with only four intake ports as compared to the manual cars six port design. This meant that 04-05 automatic cars only made 197hp.

From 2006-onward, the automatic transmission was upgraded from a 4spd to a 6spd, and the engine

Not sure I follow. The car was never officially sold with 250hp, but it did get ‘de-rated’ once.

In 2004 (and 2005), the car was released with:
238hp, with the 6spd manual

From 2006 onward to the final year of 2011, the car was sold with:
232hp, with the 6spd manual

There were ECM changes in 2006, which increased oil
