Tell me how you really feel!
Tell me how you really feel!
I couldnt agree more.
I had that charger in a swap I put in a mk1 rabbit. Now that was a riot! In a mk3 it’s fun though. Good sounds and wakes it up some. At what point do you wonder about just getting a vr6 though?
To be fair, they arent heavy. They do make some wind noise though.
It’s strange how an appliance car like a hyundai accent is alright in lieu of something you’re disappointed in. There’s no presumed excitement, and therefore less disappointment in something like a hyundai. We already know its crap!
A brown e30 m3 diesel sounds great!
You’re absolutely right. I’ve done a lot of swaps. Some really well and in my early days not well at all. I’m sure the new owner will do the car justice in a way I was never motivated to do.
I came to realize this as time went on. I have the skill space and tools but kinda went ehhhhh when it came down to do it.
The plan was to respray the whole car. I just never got around to it.
It’s the new owners basket. I like how it looks, although he may be more likely to be asked to help someone move than someone with a truck.
I think I’m on e30 hiatus for awhile!
It’s still here, but I doubt it will see winter now with its new owner.
For now, that remains the 911. I’ll continue to buy and sell frantically on my quest for the dream!
Well I certainly undersold mine at those rates.
That’s ended up that way for me a few times too. People often overlook the intangibles in motoring.
I think the touring factor was the only reason I even considered an auto. I looked deeply into converting but gave up. I just didnt have the interest to continue further with the car.
I once saw a subaru with the basket zip tied to the rails on the roof. It was amazing.
I sold it.
It was certainly plebeian or “for the commoner” to me. I too wondered a few times while I was driving why someone would import this, rather than a nicer model. Maybe they got a really great deal on it, and it made sense financially to bring it over. It wouldn’t have been my choice if I were to import one myself.
Millions of people every day go through an automatic car wash. The paint, to me, wasnt worth the effort of a hand wash.
PS. I’m not fat. :)
