Great story. It’s this kind of stuff that makes them so much more than just a machine to use.

Nice list. I love the 240Z stuff, and man those things have gone crazy lately.

What do they say, Perfection is the enemy of good? Glad you ended up with something. I drive some of the 964 stuff and just think: “wow, this is a REALLY nice car compared to mine.”

912's are great. Its good to see them finally getting the recognition they deserve! Nice color!

Really, really, big stands.

I don’t feel sad at all. A friend of mine has a mid year car with over 300k miles on it. They are great motors if taken care of. They rev nice, and sound just as good as any of the others. Mid year cars have the best color/interior combos of all the big bumper cars too.

There’s always a faster car. In my years of motoring, which arent that many, I’ve found that chasing speed and “fast” really is just an endless jaunt. It’s better to just drive whatever puts the biggest smile on your face.

Thanks Tom!

I literally set my computer on fire right now!

Tough to compare a new lotus to an old 911 as they’re brilliant. Even the brand new Mazda speed stuff and a Golf R would probably out handle it. I could get a newer EVO and

The content driven side: the great stories, the spellbinding photography, that's the bit that's taken the hit and looks unlikely to recover. Magazines have less space and budget for indulgent features, yet they feel unwilling to post such long-form content on their websites because they don't want to upset that

you realize consumption is bout the same or down from the 90's right?

Couldn't agree more.

holy hell it sounds like a swarm of tiny bees.
