I was actually quite surprised by this episode. They tackled a difficult topic and made it entertaining. It was not what I was expecting, and that is a good thing.

It’s a Kanuten-valve bypass. Likely, the trom-flange failed on the engine at some point and this was used to remedy the problem.

My guess is that he knew exactly what the issue was with his tires, and possibly even purposefully wore them down to the state they were in prior to posting his video.

It wasnt really a surprise attack - this was scheduled, and the info leaked ahead of time. It was in the forums and many in-game channels. Those who were caught in freighters really have no one to blame but themselves.

You can put as little, or as much time into it as you want. Forget the big battles you saw in the adverts and videos - those are the exception rather than the rule.
