Well... professional model maker chiming in here. Some of these models can be mind blowing. Like are you fucking kidding me. I make models professionally, for comercial clients and some of the high-end models from Amalgam etc are absolutely worth tens of thousands. I couldn’t make one and charge less than 50k.

How big of contingency fund should Hertz have? (their one billion dollar cash reserve is running out).  What would be the cost of that contingency fund?  How would the CEO explain that cost to shareholders? What would keep shareholders from investing in another similar company that does not hold such a contingency

To be fair...keeping money on hand on the 0.00000001% chance of a global pandemic is absurd.

You know what I don’t care anymore, I was in actual combat off and on for six years, you can argue with the other people who care. Why did I even write a response??

I dunno, I have a soft spot for Bearcats

No need for a puffy Jacket when you can get a deal on a Puffyota Supra.

Not be as boring and wannabe?

“Is it all just because people are goofy?”

Might be a Nice Price to someone, but a nearly-300,000 mile Landcruiser from the 1990s for that much money is pure crack pipe to me.

It’ll be an electric crossover, because crossovers are tight

If you think the amount of trucks American’s drive is in any way proportional to their need, and they aren’t driven purely as a status symbol and a sign of a political and cultural in-group, you’re blind.

Show me on the doll where he touched you and you liked it.

Still think they should have left “Optima” and gotten rid of “Kia”.

We get it. You don’t like trucks. In a little over a month, you have posted three articles implying trucks are terrible. Don’t buy one.

In the midwest (which exists even though it’s not New York or Los Angeles), people drive trucks instead of SUVs and sedans. They can be just as luxurious as either of those, ride

I agree with you. This is what we get when those participation trophy winning children grow up to be the stars of their own real-life reality shows. Look at the pictures I posted of her: Audra is a (insert jazz hands) star, baby. She had tap lessons until she got a bit too bosomy at 10, or she was a pageant princess

Germany, or at least West Germany, has always had a strong environmental sentiment. So not wanting to be seen as the coal rollers of Europe is understandable; plus Germany still, rightfully, feels shamed by the War, and having its people, its engineers, deliberately setting out to subvert the accepted rules and do

On other articles, people said I was wrong when I asked for less politics or “eat the rich”-ery.

This is a load of crap. Are you just going to hide in your basement until a vaccine is available, “hopefully” around the end of the year? Do you think the risk is going to magically disappear in another week? Month? Three months?

President of people who are all “my body, my choice” unless it’s “your body, your choice” and then it’s “your body, my choice” and then hold up, I confuse. I have the right to kill already born children with coronavirus, but you don’t have the right to scrape cells that don’t even amount to a chicken from inside of

They wanted a couch in their car.
