Does it even have one? Seems like most GM cars had the “open with the doors and strangle you” “automatic” belts right up until airbags were absolutely mandated in ‘94 or ’95.

This is the nicest of nice prices. Dull as an old hoe, but honestly they weren’t THAT awful with the bigger six and it looks to be in great shape for couch cushion change by today’s standards. I had sooo many of these as rentals in the ‘90s. though usually with gray mousefur, not hooker’s bedroom red.
I drove with my mother from Maine to Florida once. ONCE.
As I posted, the one time someone did that in my car, he found himself rolling down the road.
MUCH worse things than that can happen. Do not Google it, you have been warned.
Lit up a cigarette. I reached over, unlatched the door, and shoved his dumb ass out without quite bothering to stop the car first. He had been warned. Repeatedly.
Which is more likely - that Musk remotely bricked it or the heap of shit bricked itself?
Watched it last night. It was a fitting end to the series.
Lovely on the outside, Oh Dear God on the inside.
Another jacked-up two-box blob. At best it’s inoffensive.
I don’t think EVs CAN’T be fun to drive - I just haven’t found one that is yet. Foot down, go fast, foot up, or foot on brake, go slower. Yawn.
That is hilarious because the 740's A/C system was straight up 100% General Motors bits. If the A/C wasn’t freezing your wedding tackle off it was broken.
They did seem to get the P3s really, really right, though when they do go wrong hold onto your wallet, based on friend’s experiences. I will give Volvo credit for that. The P2s are not great, and the cars that came after the P3s are not shaping up to be either.
Ford made them better. It was NEVER reality.
The ZF transmission was the one with issues. The Aisin Warner transmissions are *bulletproof*. The 2.8L V6 was fine, the earlier 2.7L were horrendous, I will agree.
I have had 14 Volvos from 1976-2004 models. They were durable cars, but not particularly reliable cars. Always something needing sorting out. At best average reliability. Usually nothing that would strand you (except for the one that caught fire - should have let it burn), but if you had to pay a mechanic to fix the…
Ninja’d. Was going to say the same.
Does the “off road” mode in the Equinox call AAA for a tow for you? Seems like that would actually be useful.
This is why proper cars have seat and mirror memory. And steering wheel position tied into it for good measure too, in the case of my Mercedes.
I disagree. On long trips I adjust the seat regularly to relieve pressure points. So I want the seat controls “right damned there” and Mercedes does that perfectly putting them right up on the top of the door panel.
