I didn’t forget about any of these. But all but one of them I didn’t give the first shit about.

For first-degree murder she may well have gotten ten-fifteen years. Western Europe is a very different legal environment to the US. But ultimately, this woman doesn’t need jail, she needs a mental hospital.
No it won’t. Republicans only care about “children” until they are born. Then they are on their own. He would have thought this child should have flown by it’s own bootstraps.
That is fugly, to say the least. Why do trucks need to be so fugly today?
The normal people I know who bought Teslas no longer own them. *Eight* former owners in my circle of friends and coworkers. All got rid of them due to disgust with the ownership experience. That is telling to me.
I think that would be classed as justifiable homicide.
My ‘84 VW and ‘80s Saabs and BMWs could do different face and foot temps. Late 80s BMWs and Saabs could do side to side AND face. By the mid-90s nearly every premium European car could do side to side, and most can do the up and down too. My ‘11 BMW can adjust the temperatures four ways - side to side, face and foot,…
If the business in question is only $150M in revenue, it can’t possibly be the volume OEM side of things - OEM “sports” seats sure. That had to have been gotten rid of years ago. Because literally every VW and BMW and Porsche and on and on had seats made by Recaro, but not branded as such.
I find that rather terrifying.
He’s lying. How can you tell? His upper anus has sounds coming from it.
I don’t see any reason to kill Abarth. It’s not really a brand, it’s just the top sporting trim level of a couple of cars. Maserati probably should go back to Ferrari. Vauxhall has been pointless for many decades, and sadly Lancia too - soooo much heritage squandered there. DS was pointless from day one. The French…
IMHO, the Grand Wagoneer should have been a “large and in charge” Chrysler Imperial to start with.
From another post, it looks like this IS just the specialty seat business, and not the OEM seat business that got sold off separately. So if that got split out, I can see where it could be tough going on this much, much smaller business. Never underestimate the ability of an automaker to get blood from the stones of…
If you have sat in a BMW, VW, or any number of other makes, you have sat on a “Recaro” seat. As the article says, they are/were a huge OEM maker of perfectly ordinary seats, as well as the special “Recaro branded” sporty seats.
Interesting - so did they split off the “ordinary” seating production and it is only the specialty seating business that is in trouble? That would make waaaay more sense, because I can’t imagine that business being only $150M/yr.
That is the minorest corner of their seat business. As the article says, they are a Tier 1 supplier for a decent chunk of the automotive industry as a whole - and a HUGE chunk of the German manufacturers. My plain old non-sport seats in my two BMWs were made by Recaro. So have pretty much all VW seats for decades. And…
I would assume that some other company will buy them out of bankruptcy and carry on.
I want to see the miniature cop luggage they would use to chase miscreants down with.
Humans have that miracle of nature, a brain (most humans anyway, the Republican party shows they are not universal anymore). That far more than makes up for the limited sensors which we are equipped with the vast majority of the time. In my professional life I work with researchers in the field of machine learning. To…
Yet another overwrought billionaire’s codpiece. Yawn.
