And Florida, where since there is no inspection, bald tires on high-end cars are rampant.

Walls too - who needs a window, you can just make one with a car.

LOL - I said the same when TA’ing accounting 101/102.

And Dear God - that video!

The deference given to kids today baffles me. I counted myself lucky to get a RIDE somewhere as a kid, never mind a car. Though I was eventually given my grandmother’s car when I got a job so they didn’t have to keep schlepping me back and forth to work. Doesn’t seem like high school kids have JOBS these days either.

A Mercedes with a “debuilt” title from joisey - what could go wrong with that?

They are not in the business of making cars, they are in the business of making *money*. And trucks print money. Especially now that they don’t have to lose money on cars to be able to sell them without CAFE fines. Which was pretty much the only reason the Detroit three made cheap cars for decades.

Funny how everyone and everything that crows about being honest, never is.

TSA is very good at their actual job, which is make Congress feel like SOMETHING IS BEING DONE about airport “security”. Never mind that 9/11 was in no way, shape, or form a failure of *airport* security.

Simple solution - don’t check a bag. My mother and I went to Europe for a month with just carry on. It was fine.

It’s a manual, both my e91 and e88 are. And the e91 is RWD - I ordered it new Euro Delivery. No need for shorter gears though, both were born perfect. :-) The e91 just needed to sound a little faster than it did from the factory. It doesn’t need to BE faster. If they were still available I might well have put a

No reason to. That is entertainment expense. Or marketing expense if it is clients you are buying the strippers and blow for.

There are VERY few things where you get to depreciate 100% of the cost immediately. R&D is a lot more like buying a building than buying coffee beans. It is, as you say, an investment in your future. You expense coffee beans, you depreciate a building.

You understand accounting a lot better than you think you do. :-)

Should go triple for sports teams.

If your numbers are correct, this article makes no sense at all. Is this for one single month? Did Chrysler have a production issue of some kind?

So don’t finance it with Toyota? My credit union is still doing 3.99% for “well qualified buyers”. And you damned well better be if you are considering a $60K toy truck.
