Yeah, I’ve seen it: playing a female character in PvP and killing weak male players, most of them had a conniption, thinking they got “beat by a girl”. Whereas most of the decent male players weren’t sexist or insecure and enjoyed a challenge, and easily made friends with the decent female players.

Cool, thank you! :)

Damn, I have to go look for that now! :) Thanks for the tip!

If the Collector’s Edition had stuff like this, I might almost be tempted to get it. ;P

Quick, someone 3D print me a 123 Sygyzy. :)

Bungievision should take a chunk out of their $500 million and go purchase the services of a decent PR firm, or Destiny is never going to make it even 2 years, let alone 10.

I’m most fascinated that I had no idea Warframe was Canadian. As a Canadian, I must now check it out.

I think a lot of us Destiny players are starting to come to that realization now.

Although I just mostly play it for Crucible, which is fun for me despite its weapon balance issues, I honestly feel bad for so many other players who aren’t in it for the PvP at all.

Literally the very first post I ever read on the Destiny forums was from some player who absolutely could not stand DeeJ as community manager because they felt he had such an arrogant, flippant and smarmy tone to his updates and responses to players.

I at first took that for hyperbole, but lately, I’m starting to think

Yeah, I was really boggled at how many poor design decisions Bungie had made for Destiny, which I would have expected would have been fixed by the time I bought the game on sale a couple of months ago. Instead, I had to suggest certain changes on the forums (I’m sure I wasn’t the only one though) which I thought would

Yeah, although they were already getting pretty bad by the time they handed over the Halo IP to 343i: I remember I had only then just started to frequent Bungie’s Halo site (mostly because I was playing around with their game recording theatre, which was awesome), and already then the level of toxicity on their forums

Same here (although with a better exchange rate in Canada): I even bought a second digital copy of Destiny because I was constantly going back and forth between my place and my parents’, and dragging one disc to and fro was a palaver. And all I ever do is play Crucible, or grind Strikes for Strange Coins before Xur

Like a penis? ;)

Yeah, Bethesda has a bad habit of making games with a ton of useless objects littering their games. On the one hand, it’s good for creating a more realistic world/ambiance, but on the other hand, useless objects littering your inventory is really freakin’ annoying, especially for a hoarder like me. ;P I love games

I only learned about the reload cancel thing the other day. :( It probably would have slightly improved my k/d when I was playing around with NLB (I went for body shots and finishing them off with a grenade, usually, if I missed the headshot).

I want to see a team go in with all Common gear and Husks. ;)

Nah, I’m terrible at PvE, but I enjoy PvP. I am sometimes good at it, sometimes not, but mostly somewhere in the middle. But I hate PvE.

This excerpt _almost_ makes me wish I’d gotten past yellow belt. ;) Riveting stuff, it makes me want to read the rest of the book. :)

Where is Edward Snowden when we really need him? ;)

They should have filled it full of Felwinters and Thorns. ;)

Well, there’s good satire and bad satire. I think what some people are taking issue with is the very same issue I had with both Seth MacFarlane’s “We Saw Your Boobs” and Stephen Colbert’s debacle re: Suey Park - when satire is not wielded expertly, and fails to land squarely on its mark, it can end up perpetuating the
