If I wanted a sports site that did not deal with culture or politics and just stuck with sports I don’t know where I would go because I am not sure what boring ass site that would be.
Hey, let’s talk about how G/O media are such gutless scum that they took down all of the posts across the kinjaverse about how awful the autoplaying videos are and how to contact the ownership about it.
“Former USFL team owner Donald Trump went to a baseball game...”
If more people had actually driven it instead of the Explorer they might have found they liked them, they drove very car like, no tippy feeling in corners, had a decent ride even on the 20" wheels, and it was about the most practical vehicle outside a true minivan there was.
> That this post doesn’t contain a heaping helping of political vitriol isn’t “sticking to sports” any more than inviting the president to a game, playing the national anthem, “God Bless America,” or the flyover is sticking to sports. Nobody sticks to sports, ever.
The weirdest thing about the Flex is that despite being way more interesting and practical than the sea of crossovers, all the non-car people I talk to about it hate it.
Nothing weird about the Deadspin post about autoplaying videos dissapearing.
Well played, Deadspin. The suits can fucking suck it.
This is some well timed sports sticking! Go Ray!
I’m saddened by the imminent firing of the great Ray Ratto.
And despite your corporate overlords telling you to stick to sports, I hope Deadspin never does because
and I can’t emphasize this enough
I come to Deadspin BECAUSE YOU DON’T JUST STICK TO SPORTS
Bless Ray Ratto.
Deadspin does too much traffic to get Splintered. The brilliant executives wouldn’t kill a blog like Deadspin. That’d be like killing your politics blog during a heated election cycle.
It’s pretty refreshing to see an athlete admit that he didn’t call it off the glass.
Oh thank gods. It’s pushing 11:00 am Monday on the East Coast, and there was only one post. Ever since Splinter got abruptly taken out behind the barn, I get nervous about longs gaps like that.
Not true.
It’s a little known fact that Dan Quinn had a 28-3 lead in the 3rd quarter against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LI and still lost the game.
