WeChat has a huge government backing (and likely back dealing) behind it to allow it to hold a monopoly in China.

It also has the backing of a totalitarian regime with serious control over all companies operating in its borders. The idea that WeChat could exist in any form outside of a place like China is a pipe dream.

I turned off auto renew on my account for the first time since PS+ launched. Don’t use it enough to justify the price increase.

Sure, let me entrust my money to someone who has recently caused billions upon billions of dollars of value to evaporate.

If it involves money. It’ll be on our platform. Money or securities or whatever.

I think he’s still pissed that he was fired from Paypal. He’s obsessed with fintech and he’s running twitter into the ground because of it.

If you sign up for Twitters new banking service, you deserve to lose all your money. LOL

This reads like an The Onion headline.

Oh shut up. The ACA is far from perfect, but it’s better than what was there before.

I’m surprised no one has gotten shot over this yet.

Given what the job is, I always felt towing companies need to be WAY more regulated than they are.

Manufacturers kill off cheap cars, only ship EVs with 100s of miles of range, high base prices and bonkers horsepower and dealers are allowed to add their own arbitrary markups without any guardrails whatsoever. Now that we’ve reached the bullshit

I don’t think Toyota can lecture me on EVs until they actually make a Prime for actual sale.

They just posted Toyota PR without verifying it with hard numbers. I posted in a different post the Prius they are saying is selling well compared to EVs (which they use misleading comparisons of the F150 Lightning supply vs Prius) actually is selling worse than mediocre selling EVs, much less hot sellers like the

Shocking that people aren’t wild about $60k (at 7% interest!) cars with limited, often-broken charging infrastructure and insane repair and maintenance costs.

After a relatively hot last couple of years, EV sales have cooled off. A lot of American buyers don’t want them

MotorTrend seems to be generally pro-EV.

When did Jalop get such a weird, albeit slight, anti EV stance?

35K for glass is a scam.  Nowhere does it mention what kind of car it is.

Honestly, the whole “they don’t recognize the social commentary” aspect of it has been beaten to death at this point. It’s tasteless, but whatever.
