Of course she’s getting death threats. She made a conservative white man feel bad.

Because “small town” is just a dog whistle for a sundown town.

A bunch of MAGAt’s promoting violence after being called out on their bull... color me shocked.

Yep. I’ve hated the shift towards digital for this very reason. I haven’t touched my Ubisoft account in a long while (I don’t even remember my password at this point), and I don’t have a ton of games, but it still irks me that I could potentially lose what I’ve already paid for simply for not logging onto their shitty

Especially after they took their own time to hang fliers and generally try to do the right thing assisting in her recovery. I’d be pissed as hell if I were them.

he’s renamed conference rooms to “eXposure,” “eXult” and “s3Xy,”

I think we can all just start agreeing he’s an idiot now. No conspiracy theories, no ‘grand plan.’ Just a fool and his money, quickly parting

The small business owner was asked a question by a journalist (you should look up what that is!) and answered it. He wasn’t pushing himself forward, he didn’t say or imply he was most affected by it. In fact, he didn’t use the first person singular at all in the bits you quoted.

Maybe they can stop subsidizing the fossil fuel industry by allowing for a price increase not to exceed the old tax

I think this argument distracts from the point of the gas tax in the first place, which isn’t to encourage efficiency but as a way to pay for infrastructure that everyone uses. The idea behind it being a gas tax was that it used to be generally true that heavier cars used more fuel and cause more roadway damage so

Registration fee by weight is the best option.

This seems like a more complex way of solving an issue which could be resolved by raising registration fees. Presumably, unless there is an annual inspection requirement already, it would necessitate creating a new division to handle getting the information, tabulating the costs, then sending an additional bill. I think this kind of thing should be done with a scaled fee based on vehicle weight - lighter weight = lower fee, higher weight = higher fee.

Sharing devices in the same home is reasonable, imo. If you’re giving passes to anyone you know or kids who live elsewhere... that doesn’t seem reasonable. Consistently raising prices isn’t something I like.

They never notified me or started charging me more, despite three other households sharing from me.
