Admittedly, this might be a bit of a hot take - but it was nice to wake up to the top of the news being Warren and Sanders.

It must be reflective of Boomers’ collective guilt that this stings so bad and unlike GenX, y’all don’t take their criticisms to heart - good for you! That or it’s all just crocodile tears and pearl clutching.

It was shut down and the staffers were told not to discuss it:

After a few weeks of sleeping in on Saturdays and then needing to sleep the next night on the couch to fix my back and realizing I had had my mattress for 13 years, I thought it was time to buy a new mattress.

Does anyone else look at things like this and go ‘oh! so this is what rich people spend their money on every time they get a tax break? Maybe such cringe-worthy self-indulgence could have been avoided (or at least diminished) if they would pay their fair share of taxes?’

I like it. It aligns with my personal motto of “if you aren’t succeeding, just keep lowering the bar.”
