lol. Take someone who drives regular car, give em tesla for couple hours and ask if that’s innovative. Fact that he cannot deliver cars as fast as he wants doesn’t make car less innovative.

Well, then I can say that pretty much all the cars above Corolla based on needs. If you’re single., why do you need more then Corolla, right? if you got family of four - Get accord, if you’re family of 6 get Odyssey.

You’d never look at camry as something engaging. And something like BMW 3 series as something practical. If you’re looking at Camry as “fun car” or BMW as “economical daily” if’s probably your problem. 

Tom, this is an example of “bad decision” when buying a car. Pretty much any long term is a bad idea. What would be “best” decision then?

I’ll happily pay extra $50 for that window. Or $25 per side. Too bad that production like for that will probably cost several hundred grand.

Id be more interested in any lease, and in fact would probably pay a bit premium for no-commitment. I’d like to have car for winter: snowboarding out of state and trips around the city. Do I wanna get cheap ugly car and be on the hook for parking forever? Nope. Do I wanna get nice car and stay with if for long time?…

I get it, different cars, different drives, etc.

I mean in the same test Porsche looks superb to me. Same performance car, with behavior that I expect from performance car. Alpine might fall below Porsche, but not below CX5.

For me limiting factor is parking space. I live in downtown and parking is quite expensive. I don’t have a car, even though I’d like one. But no way I’m getting two anytime soon. What I’d like to get? Something that can be used for adventure trip around the city, and unfortunately it’s CUV/SUV.

But lots of people don’t want (or can’t) get two cars: and choosing between practical and fun... well you see it on the streets. 

Looks like Stinger compares to CPO 4-series GrandCoupe, which is basically the same: 4-door-hatch. CPO BMW vs New Kia? IDK. Decisions, decisions..

Wagon meant to carry stuff. So can X3. It sits higher (bad), but comes with 6 cyl engine (good). Can you offset clearance with better engine? 

This. Last year is 2009, so it will be 10 year old car next year. I want something under 3-5 years instead, because gaskets will fail :) 

Tom, here’s the question: BMW wagons are way overpriced: if you look sideways, you can get either ~2015 X3 35i or 435xi. None of those is a wagon, but both comes with 35i engine. While 3-series wagon doesn’t.

What’s the difference between A-sedan and CLA? Isn’t CLA is A-class sedan? 

I was surprised that one of my friends who got 2018 Audi Q5 (Android auto and all that) barely uses it. Just attaches phone on a dash and here we go. Also I was disapointed that screen is non-touch screen: 2018, $60k, srsly?
