I can't say this enough. Sci-Fi is best when it plops us with new ideas and challenges us to understand their implications to the world that we know, and to our characters. Fringe can be a good example of this at times, and so could TSCC on its good days. I really get sick of the character and relationship drama

Ditto, and nothing we do can ever bring it back.

Yeah, awesome picture by the way. I'm sad that we don't have another way to get up there readily available also. We need to have something to get behind as a nation, and I think if we really commited ourselves to some space based strides it could really be a boon.

I had this same thing happen to me at work on friday. I came in early that day since I work around launch time and I had to pretty much let the whole office know about it. I got a few co-workers to come watch it with me. I got sort of teary eyed myself. I wasn't even born when the shuttle launched and it was by god

About that uncharted news. I am going on the record to say that I am completely on board the Uncharted Movie if Bradley Cooper is nathan drake, I think he has it in him to do the roguish adventuring thing that embodies nathan drakes character. The question remains though who could possibly be the supporting cast. It

Oh man I don't know. Mortal Kombat as a world death match instead of a fight between worlds. It has people I like potentially.. Michael Jai White, and Jeri Ryan... but, its not quite mortal kombat. Will someone help me decide if this looks as interesting as it seems?

Thank you Thank you Thank you. I am so glad that they at least want to pretend they are doing something different. I honestly thought that an aliens prequel was a bad idea in the first place. Now Noomi can actually be in as opposed to a female lead that will" bring people into seats" so to speak.

Do I have a soul?

@Dex-Starr: Yeah, I guess. I think in this instance they are trying to make a trailer that really sells it,( not quite talking about whether or not it'll be good). I sympathize with your sentiment that we've been "fooled" before by trailers.

@eanlain: Couldn't agree more. This somehow makes living a bit easier

@tylerbrainerd: Hopefully he jokes around with criminals and whoever the villain is during the movie. I found the first set of films to be absent of spidey humor.

This does it for me I absolutely love how this kid looks in that costume. We'll have to see the first trailer of course to see if this might be worth seeing, but I'm already feeling much better about this project.

Did anyone ask him about the secret mission on the moon and the missing 59 minutes or about the transformers? That's all I care about.

@shauntacular: You'd be surprised how many times we have.

For some reason secret moon missions make me giddy. I just don't understand why

*Obligatory internet comment about it being just a song* Well not really this is just a poor choice, and I'm glad I'm not the only person who thought it was wierd

So the main question I ask at least immediately. Is will it be completely worth it to see this film in 3d, were there enough effects to make it worth it.

@midn.callahan: Oh good. That's about really all one can ask for. Between this and the district nine film. I think it could be very possible to get a robotech/macross movie off the ground. I'm assuming if this gets released here it'll be straight to dvd. I would love a limited theater release though.

I've worked for an online retailer that sold tvs as a call center person and let me tell you the biggest heart break can be paying a ton of money for a large tv from a warehouse and having it break in transit.
