Hiring others to play a game with you doesn’t bother me either way. But one thing that was interesting was Cecilia’s mention of some of them having coaching experience (one being a former Platinum League of Legends player, one being a Grandmaster in Overwatch).

Totally agree Chambertlo. The first time I discovered a flashback cutscene in Zelda Breath of the Wild, I was excited to get some real story... until the U.S. Dubbed Voice for Zelda started to speak:

Heck yah! Totally agree Luke!

Great article Cecilia. I find myself feeling the same way these days, but then I step away and see the other side I suppose.

As a lifelong gamer, while I’m glad videogames are getting more exposure, the whole “Olympic sport” angle just feels off. One of the key things IMHO is:

Totally agree Cecilia. The new Uprising Event is fantastic!

Fantastic tips & article Gita! Thanks! :)

Yah, except Disney was overly sensitive to being “politically correct”: “Laputa” is a bad word in Spanish (which Jonathan Swift supposedly knew about when writing his satire Gulliver’s Travels, which is where the floating island notion came from).

Great article Kirk, and I agree with helios on the point about Confidant’s relationships (formerly Social Links in previous games):

Cayde-6 (voiced by: Nathan Fillion (Firefly, Castle)) = awesome! :)

Thanks Gita! Great news; I’ve been meaning to pick this up, and now that it’s remastered with those new tweaks for PS4 I can’t wait. :)

Awesome news Brian!

“To play Guerilla Games’ Horizon: Zero Dawn is to feel awe.”

Nice! :) Mercy and Mei Nendoroids! Thanks for the image. MUST GET! :)

Jason, fantastic article and retrospective.

Some great discussions here. In talking about F2P games and Microtransactions, it absolutely is tuned to prey on a player’s behavior, and hope that they “bite” and start spending money (like Gambling / Addiction).

Awesomeness!

Totally agree: I also play Yakuza for the Story.

One other facet to allowing Keyboard support on Console is:

Great article Jason. While I shop on Amazon for convenience nowadays, after reading about Amazon trying to launch their new Grocery Stores (with no human employees), potentially putting thousands and thousands of competitor Grocery Stores out of work (if this takes off), it feels like Amazon is getting too large.
